Fixed: Improved savedata files for the Firmware 3.36 & 3.50 Pool Exploits! – Works on PS Vita and Playstation TV!
Wololo has released the savedata files for the Pool exploits some hours ago, but those files were barely working. (Note from wololo: sorry guys!)
Qwikrazor has improved the savedata files, and a smart detective has found a solution to the (supposedly working, but yet) freezing exploit execution.
A lot of users have reported freezes on exploit execution, but Qwikrazor was confident that the files should be working.
The funny thing is, both parties were actually right.
Qwikrazor’s files are indeed working, but only if you start World of Pool as a Custom Bubble on firmware 3.36 (which pretty much defeats the meaning of the exploit), or if you are using the following trick on a completely unhacked PS Vita.
Like I said a few sentences ago, a smart detective (Twitter user trakons to be exact) found a solution to get the current files (even World of Pool!) to work on firmware 3.50.
You simply have to exit the game when it is searching for the hosted Multiplayer game, enter the airplane mode, leave the airplane mode and then continue with the exploit.
This solution has been confirmed to make the exploit work 100%* of the times! (*except when the kernel Exploit fails, and you are forced to reboot the device).
While this sounds like some weird nonsense, it actually works and fixes the freezing issue.
Feel free to check the embedded video that confirms that the exploit savedata files are indeed working on firmwares 3.36 and 3.50.
Oh, and did I mention that this also works on the Playstation TV (VitaTV)? You just have to use a slightly different trick.

I got the exploit to run on my 3.50 Vita, but as soon as I try to start any homebrew (which I have in a properly named .ZIP with .pbp inside) The game freezes and my Vita sends me back to its main menu. Any ideas what I’ve got wrong?
Similar thing happening to me with .iso files. On 3.36 and regular eboots run fine but .iso files kick me back to the home screen. I am switching it to “Game Image” before I run it too.
Still no success.

Having problems need help. I’m running 6.39 Pro-B8 psp go & 3.50 ps vita. When I start the games they just enter and play / exploit dosent trigger. I think it’s this damn plug in issue. Brake down the set up for me please. The above guide isn’t working. I’m computer literate & this shitts confusing

I am on 3.50 (vita) and 6.60 le or whatever (newest Psp firmware) Psp go. My vita keeps freezing and gives me an errror when I try to use the exploit, I have everything in order or as the Zett’s video instructs, could I get any advice?

I saw about 20 videos and none is clear what to do exactly ( for noobs) for example for custom bubble it does not say that you first need to install the PSP game on the VITA and after that to make sign the iso, transfer it to the vita make new folder in PSP\GAME ( here I fail can not write to the folder ) …

I agree. Coming from the PSP scene which I was quite active of and only coming in recently in the PSV scene, I must say that PSV methods are more complicated given the encryption protection Sony placed with the system. It took me days of research and going back to previously existing tutorials just to understand the logic behind the PSV hacking methodologies, most of which I find not too noob-friendly i.e. it was a hard read at first.

No, if you could make a custom bubble of ARK-2 eCFW coming from the Pool Hall Pro / World of Pool exploit. However, there is not yet a specific tutorial on it as of yet. Previous methods may work though.

Does it matter where the plugin is placed in the PSP GO, like whether its on the internal memory card or an external one?

well. I know the guys are very busy, and I’m gratefuller for the work, but you could have made some simple tutorial how to make the exploit work (on 3.36) without constantly running it with help of PSP
so here is what I did ( after hours and hours watching youtube videos)
for me the exploit work only when I disable wifi and enable airplane mode ( 3.36 FW)
run the game, load save, start multilayer, join game, go to settings enable wifi, disable airplane, go back to game and the expoit works
so how to get bubble that runs 138menu using the explot
since did not wanted to buy one more game ( UNO as suggested it’s 5 eur and it might not work) I decided to use WOP, so on the PC downloaded savefile ( for smart bomb, no mater any will work ) downloaded pspfiler extracted EBOOT.PBP put it in smart bomb save file folder ( on the PC, c:\Users\DreamTech\Documents\PS Vita\PSAVEDATA\487ae831406fd71a\ULUS10016\ , this is mine yours will be different)
transfer the files with openCMA
run the exploit
locate PSPFiler EBOOT.BPB
run it
locate WOP game folder (PSP\GAME\ULES00821)
copy EBOOT.PBP to smart bomb save folder and rename it to something, example VBOOT.ISO ( if stays EBOOT.PBP CMA will not copy it to the PC )
exit the exploit
restart
copy the savedata back to the PC (CMA)
save the VBOOT.ISO to some location
rename it back to EBOOT.PBP ( make backup the is the game you paid for)
Download ARK-2 for FW 3.36 (from the forum)
Download 138menu (also from the forum)
Download SignFakeNpExpert (from the forum)
unpack the archives
copy content of 138menu (the content of the ARK folder) to ARK_12345 folder
rename VBOOT.PBP in the folder to EBOOT.PBP ( replace the existing file)
use SignFakeNpExpert to sign the ARK2.ISO with the EBOOT.PBP fomr the game !!!! (WOP the EBOOT that you saved from the vita to the pc
save the new EBOOT.PBP to the save folder data for transfer to the vita ( mine is smart bomb)
also put EBOOT,PBP for the PSPfiler ( remane it to something else example PSFILE.PBP)
put some PSP ISO in the same folder ( CSO might also work haven’t tried it yet)
transfer the savedata to the VITA ( recommend that you delete the folder from the vita first, just in any case )
run the exploit
navigate to the savedata folder ( for smart bomb, mine folder yours might be different)
run PSFILE.PBP
go to PSP/GAME
rename ULES00821 to ULES00821&
make now folder in PSP/GAME
name it ULES00821
go to the savedata folder copy ( or move the EBOOT.PBP ( the signed ARK2 ISO) to the new folder PSP/GAME/ULES00821
copy the PSP iso files to ISO folder
make PSP filer folder in PSP/GAMES
move the PSFILE.PBP file to this folder
rename it to EBOOT.PBP
exit the game
eject the memory card
reboot
insert the memory card
reboot
it will rebuild the database
start the WOP game ( don’t know if it’s possible to rename it and change the icon will try to do it)
it will start the 138menu
from the re you can start games, homebrew, install homebrew…
WOP is in the list but it’s not playable !!!! so I guess you can delete it ( but you have copy on the PC if you really want it , but it’s a crappy game after all
one important thing if I run the game (WOP now the 138menu) with wifi on, it crashes so I run it in airplane mode, guess this is problem with the explit
will try to make custom bubble with a second game, but since it can not be renamed it’s useless ( for me it does not look good and you have to remember which bubble is what,
it was fun, but since PSVita memory is stupidly expensive, the is no sd card adapter ( like for the PSP) for PSP games i’ll stick with my PSP, much easier to transfer games and they run directly form the XMB. will wait for real CFW for the VITA to be able to play VITA images on it

the problem accrues when I transfer new file with openCMA, I susspect it is because of my stupid misstake, trying to transfer files with lower caps in names ( example prini.iso instead of PRINI.ISO)
cma transfers the files but they are not shown in the VITA, when I use psp files they are not where they should be, not sure if this is the problem, but I think that might be it, since after 5 additional installations finally figured out the file name issue, but still need to test it further,
what I did the last time I restore the WOP, repeated the procedure from my post above but this time I put the ISO game with correct name ( ALL CAPS) used pspfiler to move it to ISO folder )
restarted the VITA several times, run the WOP ( ARK2 ) bubble several times run games (LUXOR 2 and PRINI ) and all was OK,
need to add new ISO’s to see if the problem occurs again, if it does that the problem is with CMA, and the exploit needs fixing
I know mu tutorial might be a bit mess but it WORKS, at least for me
it’s deferentially the CMA, it breaks the exploited WOP bubble on next transfer
will try with another game ( for the bubble and leave the WOP untouched )
Yo, for some reason my Vita can’t find the World of Pool save file… I’ve put it in the right folder and everything, but it just doesn’t show up on the Content Manager App (I’ve tested other save files and those show up no problem). Can anyone help me?
Okay, problem solved. Create a World of Pool save on your Vita first, transfer it to your PC and then replace the contents of the folder with the hacked save.
Now, when I actually try to do the exploit, it still freezes… what am I doing wrong?
I found i had to to the following EXACTLY…. (psp 6.60 Pro / PS Vita 3.5)
Assumptions: – the Exploits have already been transferred to the relevant consoles.
run the WOP on psp, load the save game and kick off the multiplayer host game.
On the Vita.
open the WOP game
go to the load menu (so you can see the game to load – DO NOT LOAD THIS YET)
short press the PSV menu button
long press the PSV Menu button (brings up the airplane mode option)
activate airplane mode
on screen press x [not the button] to close the menu
press the continue to re-open the WOP game (you will be back at the load screen now)
open load menu, select the exploit save
arrow left to the multiplayer option and enter
arrow right to the multiplayer /join option and select
you will get the wifi not enabled error
long press the PSP button to bring up the airplane menu, turn it back off
press the on-screen X to close as before (this will take you straight back into the game)
all being well, you should now have the loading screen, a short 1-2 second freeze on the top scrolling menu, then a grey screen and into a shell menu.
ANY different button combo seems to not activate the exploit for me (IE: if i scroll around the WOP menus before or after loading the updated save file.

Does anyone know once you access the 138 menu through this method, is that it? or do you have to constantly access this exploit through this method again and again if you happen to exit the 138 menu to play a vita game or whatever?

works! Vita 2000 3.36 EU and a psp go 660 PRO-C it took 20times before it works,… for me cf0:/seplugins not same as ms0:/seplugins, my confusion is in psp go there are 2 plugins 1 for internal memory or called cf0: and 1 for external micro sd called ms0: ….. first i downloaded the game iso WOP in my PC then transfer it to my psp go and i din’t notice that i transfer the game in internal memory means cf0: and do the trick ad hoc thing mention in to the guide, not thinking its ms0:seplugins means external micro sd….tried, plane mode thing, erasing and re transfer the game and save 4 to 5 times, then it wont work at all…. then i think its 18 to 20 times that passed tried all along ill tried to transfer the game to my external micro sd card psp go and do its ms0:seplugins thing and then to my vita i notice that i have my FFX remastered hd cartrige stick in to it, then i remove it… and do the plane mode thing… and voila!! it works! dont know if the problem is related to all that i change to my psp go.. ill just do it and hope to work the exploit with cross fingers… and it works! and all thanks! to the plane mode thing! ^_^

I can’t rename the GAME folder to GAME2.
When i rename GAME to folder GAME2 it renames the GAME folder in QPSP to GAME2

When you say the GAME folder do you mean the WOP/PHP folder or the actual folder that says GAME. If you mean that the actual folder is named GAME you can’t rename it and you’re not suppose to due to the update. You’re suppose to rename the game folder for either WOP or PHP.
I’m talking about my error of not able to rename in the PSP folder and that is where the game folder is which I can’t rename

So if I’m understanding this correctly you want to run plugins, right? Running plugins on ARK-2 is a bit different then what you’d expect. Since you are able to run homebrew as it is there is a something called Vita Plugin Manager For ARK. This will help you easily run plugins, disable them, delete them, and add them. Just a heads up, to enable the plugin you want remember that you must put it somewhere on your vita.( Sorry if this does not answer your question, if you need further assistance I will happily answer:)
in my recovery menu in have a plugins folder that reads internal/memory card psp go pro-b8 on a psp go you only have internal storage. does that mean thr root of the psp go ? im asuming it does. what does game.txt mean? a note pad doucment named Game.txt or the name of the game NXXXXXX.txt Then the path of the pluh in mso/seplugin/ ect. is pasted inside the game text. well psp go has readable disk not mso , im sure mso is the root of the psp go usa edition so what do i name the path in the txt. document please take the time and help me out
