I was too engrossed in Sleeping Dogs last week, and was pretty annoyed with myself that I missed it, I’ll cover a bit more than usual this week! Let’s get started!

We’ve got quite a bit of news to catch up on, including the likes of a new Titanfall, and some new info on Gravity Rush, an infrograph of everything that’s been happening in Dying Light, and a few quick links for stuff that happened the week previous, as well as the introduction of something new to Wololo.net!

But first of all, we can’t forget our baby, the PS Vita:

Pocket God vs. Desert Ashes – PS Vita, PSTV, PS4

I’m pretty happy about this, I remember having Pocket God on my iPod Touch, a few years ago. So this should be fun, although I wasn’t aware, the game Desert Ashes came out a few weeks ago for Vita, here’s the trailer for it:

Well the developer for this game just the other day announced that he will be teaming up with the Pocket God creator to include the little pygmy’s in the game, here’s a few screenshots:

Luc Bernard, describes the game as similar to Desert Ashes, with the same modes; campaign, multiplayer and local.

It’s great to see two different developers teaming up, and making an even awesome game, I’d like to see it happen with a few different games, too, but my dream combination would have to be Marvel vs DC vs Tekken vs MK….

Can you imagine? All with MK finishers….. damn.

Playstation have finally caught up with Xbox and have created an extensive PSN status page, this doesn’t just cover PSN itself though, it’s pretty nice, and includes the status for:

Unfortunately, however, this is just for the US region. Hopefully, the status page will be coming to other regions soon too, as it’s pretty helpful. In any case, if there are any problems I’m sure the PS twitter will always be up to date on it, so check there first if you’re unsure and in the other regions like myself.

Gravity Rush

Wasn’t too fond of it myself to be perfectly honest, but everyone else seemed to enjoy it, so I won’t say anything. But what I WILL say, is that in Korea, a rating has gone up for a PS4 version dubbed ‘Gravity Rush Remaster’

For those of you who have played Dying Light, you may enjoy this little info graph as you are a part of it!

Dying Light development studio have released the little picture through their twitter, showing who many zombies have been killed, how far you’ve traveled, and how many survivors have been saved! It’s pretty cool, I keep eyeing up the game but I haven’t had anyone convince me to buy the game, but I’m sure I will after I finish Type-0, FF 15 Demo, Sleeping Dogs, L.A. Noire DLC I just bought, Game of Thrones, Surgeon simulator, Tokyo Jungle…….*sigh*



This is a pretty cool piece of news, Harmonix, who are developing the new Rock Band, have put up a site where you can request what song to be in the game, they say that each request will be looked at, and taken into consideration; follow the link below to put your song suggestions in! I’ve put a few in myself, here’s one

The UK magazine MCV got an interview with product manager Eric Pope and got to speak about the technical aspects of the game, something that everyone will be glad to hear:



We built a brand new engine for Rock Band 4 to make the most of the new hardware. It’s going to look ‘next-gen’ with more realistic lighting, character models, and animation. It’ll be 1080p and will run at 60fps, I know there’s a vocal group of players that want to hear that. But what to me is more exciting is the online infrastructure of the consoles. It will open a lot [of] opportunities for us to support the game in more reactive, timely ways

1080/60? Nice!

Although there has been no official release date for the game, in a separate article, in the same magazine it said:



Rock Band 4 is now set to return this October, and widespread reports claim that Guitar Hero is also braced for return.

I loved guitar hero, and I love Rock& Roll remains one of my favourite songs because of it (it was the only game I could complete on hard) I can 100% say that I will be getting Rock Band 4, with the guitar only, and am now anticipating that Guitar Hero return!
