Sign~Fake NP Expert Released
/talk user leecherman has just released a simple to use GUI tool for all your buble creation and fake signing needs.
It has been some time that a way to make custom bubbles on Vita has been made public. It essentially involves signing an iso/homebrew with the license of another PSN bought game and tricking Vita into booting our desired iso/homebrew by folder renaming.
Even though the process isn’t complicated, using signing tools on command line or batch files might be frustrating for some users. Sign~Fake NP Expert is a perfect all-in-one GUI for this. You can also use it for booting your iso/homebrew on your official firmware PSP, though I would just get a CFW if I were you.
What I like most is being able to use custom splash screen instead of the default health message.

I posted this in the fake_np mod thread as well. The program crashes whenever adding a startdat image. In the gui it only happens in fake_np mode, as well as in the command line tool.

Since I’m not able to find any eboot files in the CMA backup folder, I’m guessing that this program only works for people who already have a PSP mode exploit on their Vita?
You need to have at least one bought PSP game and an exploit like VHBL, TN-V, ARK
I have a 3.18 Vita. No exploited game on my device.
Is it possible to run PSX eboot etc. with full sound? If so, link? Or does this work with PSX/1 games?
Yeah possible but not with this. Buy XS Moto for PS1 game exploit. You will also need a PSP game for TN-V, ARK exploit.
We still need a ps3 though to xfer the games to the vita though right?
Dose it matter what the ps3’s firmware is?
yeah, you need a ps3 at recent firmware, as it should be able to connect to psn.
