Release: ARK-2 eCFW & kernel mode exploit for PS Vita firmware 3.36!
Developer Qwikrazor has just released yet another kernel mode exploit for the PS Vita firmware 3.36.
This enables you to use the ARK-2 eCFW on your PS Vita.
Before the questions start: This CAN NOT enable you to use or run the TN-V eCFW until Total_Noob himself updates it. Since TN is currently very busy, this won’t happen in near future, so stay with ARK-2.
This will also not enable you to use the PS1loader, PKG Installer or Webkit exploit. Things don’t work like that.
This kernel mode exploit for the PSPemulator of the PS Vita firmware 3.36 will enable you to run PSP game backups as ISOs/CSOs and PS1 game backups as PBPs (without sound, though)
It also enables you to use Plugins while using PSP or PS1 games and grants you access to superior Homebrew support than the current VHBL offers (even though the current VHBLs homebrew support is massive!).
This does work on firmwares 3.36 and below, is not only limited to the fat PS Vita 1000, but also supports the slim PS Vita 2000 and the tiny PSV TV. So all the Vita devices are covered.
To install and use the ARK-2 eCFW on firmware 3.36 you either need the Patapon 2 exploit, or a working custom bubble that is capable of setting up more custom bubbles (pretty much what we taught you in the last week).
While this does bring support for an eCFW to firmware 3.36, keep in mind that updating past firmware 3.20 means that you lose access to TN-V, the PS1loader, the PKG Installer and the Vita native Webkit exploit.
Custom Bubbles & the ARK-2 eCFW are also working on version 3.18/3.20, so only update if you really need to use online services or a Vita game requires it.

I’m on 3.35 and my PSN account was banned, so I can’t sign into PSN or use the PS Store anymore. If I remove my banned account, I won’t be able to play the games I’ve got on the vita, so I was just wondering: is there any possible way to install an exploit game onto my vita under these circumstances?

Well I got banned for repeatedly sending “offensive” replies, to a bunch of failed trolls; using PS4.

i got everything right using two demos (locoroco and saddle) using the latest as ARK. But after the first time loading it says error c0-11136-2 and asks me to download the game again (losing ark). what am i doing wrong? thanks!
Samething happen to me. What I did was, delete all clone bubbles and all saved files. And then restore back from backup. Everything OK now

You can only run the isos from the ark, of you want them into the live area you have to sign then into PBP files.
Sign into pbp means create another bubble?

I purchased Patapon 2 and had it downloaded on my PS3 but had to format my PS3 hard drive the other day and lost it. I can still download it from the store….but will the game still work or did they patch it?

Hi guys is there a way to change the ISO region like if the games from USA and i want it to convert it to EU , because I think the problem with some games that doesnt run on a base games that for example if your base games is EU and your ISO file is from USA i think it will not run, I manage to run Motor Storm Artic Edge , Crisis Core and Monster Hunter Freedom Unite on BetaBlock EU , this is just my theory hehehe… correct me if I am wrong guys, thanks,… now i’m trying to download some God Of War EU and try it later… I havent tried ARK yet but like its says here there is no sound if we run it via Ark?

I think you could create Japan account and buy new PS Vita to run it.
No, you can’t access other account’s content within the same vita without having to restart the whole system first (every time you want to switch).
This is not like the PS3 where you can have multiple accounts and play other accounts content from your main account.
You bought the exploit with a Japanese account, so if you want to use the exploit you have to stay on that account.
Want to access the 2 of them? I have a solution: Get another vita.
