    Congratulations! Happy Moving Wololo 😀

  4. thaosnake

I’ll be the first to said
    Welcome to the usa

  5. Ricky D

I’ll be the first to say
Get out. Get out while you can. Run away. Run as far and as fast as you can. The USA is a horrible place to live. All parts of the country. It’s been going downhill for years and shows no signs of getting better

    • angel

you are absolutely right on that

    • fatman01923

I agree with all my fellow Americans, this place is going downhill really fast until it crashes. I planning to move out the states in a few years to another country.

    • Mr Rab

Don’t live in the southern states , it sucks here. Somewhere like north California or new york. Or colorado, people are chill there.

      • Reckless-0

People are chill in New York? IMO it was the most unpleasant place on the face of the planet… Big cities aren’t for everyone… and chill is the last word I would use to describe them.

For reference I reside in Michigan(grew up in the boonies in a much more industrialized area now), and have been to all the other places you have listed for 2+weeks minimum… NY is not for me…. close call between which I dislike more though NY or CHI Town… Big Cities just do not do a damn thing for me other than frustrate. To each their own I suppose haha.

        • T

Maybe he means the state of NY rather than the city. I’ve seen the rest of the state and it seems like it’s pretty calm for the most part.

    • PeAcE

That’s not very positive and a buzz-kill lol The thing is most places can say similar about own. Welcome to the start of the new dark ages, collapse and rise is inevitable… Sounds a bit extreme but it was worse in history statistically, although they didn’t have instant media, etc. I’m sure they’ll have a good life moving and exciting somewhere different.

  6. Jay Clay

wow that sucks man, Japan is a so nice place to live, wonder why you make such a decision like this

  7. jlo138

    What state you coming to?

  8. zorak_torok

Ignore the amercans saying how crapy this place is. It does suck (as everywhere) if you dont have a good job. Americans for the last 20 years have had a knack for saying how terrible it is but it could be way worse. Im guessing if you have a job on day one and your moving from Japan, then having a mediocre job isnt an issue so other than the culture shock, should be a pretty easy transition… unless your in LA…. I know japan is crowded, but damn…. apartments are high there.

    • mlc

It sucks if you don’t have a good job, but it could be worse? Go USA! =) I think you might be as negative about America as anyone, haha

      • Zorak_Torok

I’ m actually pro unitaristic, if only becoming singular wouldnt bring upon us that darn apocalypse :->

  9. NeonAera

I shall host teh welcoming party 🙂

  10. Stewart

Move to Canada. It’s much better than the states. Free health care. Also I heard that their Grade 12 is equivalent to our Grade 10. So that indicates that we are more intelligent.

    • anonanon

      >Americans
      >Intelligent
      Hahahaha

      • anonanon

But yeah, I’d agree with you on Canadiens being smarter than Americans, Americans are just stupid, that’s why the country has so many issues.

        • NeonAera

Getting more stupid no thanks to the social media we have around and the chemicals, gmo junk foods and the like, yeah.. 😛 Unless you are pretty intelligent about what you put in your mouth, don’t hit your head too hard, and just be yourself.. then you won’t get any dumber… in fact, perhaps smarter 😛 SO EAT HEALTHY, GUYS.

        • NNNRT

It’s because all they care about is “having a life” & “hanging out.” It isn’t their mistake, since there’s nobody to direct them to reading or getting educated & seeing what’s in this world.

        • Casavult

          Canadians*

        • NeonAera

Wait.. what the…. where’s my post from yesterday?!? D: Looks like I got modded and it wasn’t an accepted post?? Darn it why though..?? It is the truth lol… Gosh, guys.. was it that big of a deal…? The food here in America is what’s making us stupid and unhealthy. Moderation is KEY, I’m not saying American food is all bad.. 😛 Meh.. whatever… >_> I see how it is, wololo….. no welcoming party for you guys *leaves wololo.net*

          • NeonAera

WAIT.. ***… now I see it is still awaiting moderation?!? o_o So you guys are still thinking about it eh -_- And I was kidding when I said I was leaving here.. <_< I kinda sarcastically raged a little bit back there, didn't really mean it.

          • wololo

Hey NeonArea, just bad caching on the site. Your comment should show up within 24h.

        • Chris.Beanz

He is saying the exact opposite. Think about it..If USA 10th graders are equivalent to Canada’s 12th graders then it means they are 2 years ahead of them with 2 more years to learn still. Maybe speak for yourself only when you refer to Americans? Not all of us are that slow.

  11. Robert

Good luck my friend I live in California if you need help here I am

  12. John

Haha, if they knew you where running this place, they likely would have declared you a persona non grata 😉

  13. Kolma

Why would you leave Glorious Nippon D:
Welcome to America though. Hopefully you find what you are looking for!

  14. meysam25

    dont wory dude
    its ok by me

  15. Sett@

I’ll be for you to survive .. good luck with moving to America

  16. ichiban taicho

hope you and your family get mugged in US

  17. mlc

I hope you have an easy and nice move, and that you enjoy your new home! The US is pretty good, so long as you’re willing to have some humor about broken politics and moral responsibility.

  18. someguy

Like most civilized country’s it will have its up’s and downs. California will have all the b.s. laws and will be expensive.

  19. woof

    you’re downgrading?

  20. Sülo

real life > website, don’t sweat about it

  21. CPUzX

This is insane. The USA is a terrible place. The economy, politics, education system, the people… Japanese are always so loyal, respectful, compliant, and the Japanese government actually care about you. Japan has so much positive equality about it – the USA has NOTHING. No opportunities that you didn’t already have in France, or Japan.

Are you moving there so that your kids are brought up being exposed to a more idealistic English, simplistic environment to your taste? I don’t understand why you’d move from Japan. It’s like a dream there.

Even France would be much more of a relief than the USA, but my ignorance is really starting to show…

    • bloop

Remember that time the Japanese government let all those hemophiliacs get Aids because they didn’t want to sterilize blood for transfusions?

      • Guy From Iowa

Remember that time the US dropped a couple bombs on Japan?

        • Guy From Iowa

Honestly, the US is not that bad of a place. There are a lot of problems, but you are going to have pro’s & con’s no matter where you choose to live. Just avoid the mid-west. Especially here in Sioux City, you will never escape if you come here. It is a “black hole” Even if you are just passing through. Go around.Once you have been here, you will be back. And you will die here.

        • Guy From Connecticut

remember the time Japan crashed a couple of planes into Pearl Harbor?

      • NNNRT

That’s why they don’t have it anymore. Now they worry of aids, unlike other countries.

  22. PsYos

Don’t let them scare you. Every country has its flaws. No one is perfect. I hope you enjoy it here! Hope everything goes well with the new job and your family!!

  23. psvita836

    New life, Goooooood luck!!!!!!!

  24. omnipotent

Welcome to the USA. Good luck adjusting to time zone and everything else. An American saying would apply to you “family comes first”. So take your time and a big thank you for all your work in your free time to make others happy like me.

  25. ichiban taicho

US people dont have family values …we cant raise our children in that stupid country

    • Gauban

Yeah. good way to top off that get mugged thing. The US is ok, but life in the USA is not for everyone. I am from america. I plan to go teach in another country. There is nothing like traveling the world on someone elses dime.

    • xPreatorianx

You know what? ***!!! Seriously…US people don’t have family values? Man…I could say some rather mean *** *** about Japan, but you know what? I’ll take the moral high road and just avoid that whole can of worms…

  26. reshiramdragon

Woow I thought this WHOLE time wololo WAS in the US.
    That explains EVERYTHING

  27. hrosales

I have been blessed by having the opportunity to visit the USA several times (last one was on christams time 2014 with my wife visiting my mother in law at Burbank in LA), and I think if you want to grown professionally, you have made the right decision, looser never take some kind of risk and always will look for the darkest part of the life, congrats for your courage when moving with yours whole family and thanks for the effort on updating this page…USA it is a great nation, there is no way to say there are bad people to rise our children, but we can say there are bad families that not take responsibility of their selves and are always expecting other solves their problems.

  28. bwitzberger

Welcome HOME Wololo!! Don’t Listen To These Chumps! life Is What You Make Of It! Believe That. The U.S.A Is Awesome Depending Where You Live, And You Are Intelligent So You Will Have No Problems…You Will Have Less *** To Deal With, Than Over There…

  29. Darth Agnon

I and my family had a great holiday all across USA this past summer (2014AD, for posterity). Have relatives and many friends there, too. Americans are also generally very friendly people, and the country is beautiful. Live long and prosper, Wololo!

  30. alpmaster

Hello Wololo that is awesome i live in USA and i love it just don’t let your children watch tv it corrupts their mind especially Disney channel. Congratulations!!!

  31. NoSpam

So why the move exactly, don’t tell me it’s because the US PSN is cheaper…

  32. Reckless-0

Good luck with the move! I know I myself want to make the opposite trip at some point. Hopefully my current job will afford me that opportunity here at some point. (Working for a primarily Japanese company currently… always setting up cell phones for the trip and dropping hints that they could probably use some on site IT support while over there haha)

  33. Speedbump

I hope your transition is going good. I cannot even begin to imagine how hard it would be to move across the world. Welcome to the USA

  34. Esude

SERIOUSLY!!! YOU PEOPLE ARE SO…. We Americans have the best economy, so stop saying bad things about us. And if he wants to move somewhere let him move where he damn pleases. Obviously he wouldn’t move to here if it was such a crumby place!!

    • ichiban taicho

      Best economy yes
      Racism yes
      Violence yes
      No family support yes
      Insecurity yes
People like us don’t stand our children turn into mindless retards and grow like a spoil child like most of you Americans are….its no place for families

      • xPreatorianx

Ichiban – Oh wow! Don’t even talk about Racism, violence, insecurity, etc. The Japanese people as a nation are among the world’s top xenophobic people in the world! Unless your asian, your a COMPLETE OUTCAST!

Seriously…JUST SHUT UP! Your only making yourself look like a xenophobic fool!

    • NNNRT

You have the best economy? Yeah, right, lol.

  35. 173210

How many people say US is bad!
Well, many people say the countries they live are bad. Some Japanese say Japan is not good. I don’t know whether my country is good or not because I have never been abroad.

    • wololo

That’s very true. I still find it very hard for me to compare, even though I’ve lived in 2 countries (now 3). I don’t think anyone can really make a valid comparison. Imagined you’ve lived in 2 different apartments in your city, and say “this is hands down the best (or worst) apartment in this entire city”. That’d be weird.

  36. Sharkrazer

Welcome to the US, wololo. It’s a great place filled to the brim with interesting and diverse people, now including yourself and your family. Here’s to a wonderful 2015 here in the states! 🙂

  37. Jefphar

I hope you find friends there hackers alike to help you out for PS Vita Hacking, if hacking is allowed on that place.

  38. nCadeRegal

well im glad to hear you are coming to the usa brother. Despite what was said, and im sure you understand this, your life is what you make it. If you want to be a bum and live in your parents basement with no job playing video games all day, anywhere sucks. good luck on your venture, travel safe, and i hope you get everything you dream of here in the states. God speed son

  39. Be0ut

Good luck wololo .. NY here, feel free to reach out if you have questions or concerns during the transition. Good luck!
