PSN Sale, up to 80% off on more than 30 titles, + $15 back on $100 spent
Black Friday is this week in the US, and that means all online stores are competing to offer good deals on video games for the next 5 days or so.
I’ve stated it many times, but it’s never too late to create a US PSN account, even (especially) if you live outside of the US. PSN games are on average 35% cheaper in the US than any other locale, and this is even more true around the holiday season. I explain here how you can buy PSN credits without any additional fee ($10 codes are actually sold for $9.99) on Amazon. This technique works outside of the US.
Today, Sony announced the “Co-op gaming sale”, a huge sale on games that are better enjoyed with friends and family. The sale includes PS4, PS Vita, and PS3 titles. Sony offer up to 65% off on more than 30 games. PS+ members get up to 80% off (and yes, you can buy a PS+ subscription with the Amazon technique above). The sale ends on December 1st so you only have a few days.
Games being discounted include Towerfall Ascension (I love this game, highly recommended!), Borderlands 2, Dark Souls 2, Little Big Planet 2 (at $9.99 this game’s a steal!), EA Sports UFC… the full list can be found at the announcement here.
It does not stop here, Sony is sending $15 your way for $100 spent. And yes, this is cumulative with the sale above!
I will not state it often enough: create a US PSN account, buy your psn codes online the clever way, and you’ll start saving dramatically on your gaming hobby. I did this a year ago, and haven’t looked back (In 2013, I essentially got my PS4 for free compared to staying on the EU account).
Which games are you buying for this year’s holiday season?
First!
I have strong feeling that there’ll be a Flash sale for black Friday/Cyber Monday so if this sale lasts until the first, might be a good idea to wait until Friday before buying anything unless there’s something you really want.
Is there anybody who bought Angry Birds for Vita? You can have it for free (Faotd) on Amazon or for 0,99$ on Google Play. It’s too expensive on Vita even on discount.
there a funny with that i cant realy say. cool if u have a vita expoit game tough. wy wouldu get an android game that has a bug that lets the us gov trak ur fon or take pics and turn on the mic.
>Which games are you buying for this year’s holiday season?
As a Vita owner with non-US “main” PSN account, I’ll try to find some Vita exclusive titles that aren’t available in my region: http://gematsu.com/exclusives/ps-vita
Having no access to PS3 to get the games to 3.18 Vita is pretty inconvenient, but at least absolute majority of games won’t require 3.3x.
If only “bubble-exploitable” games were announced…
gotinto destiny beta version look real good tough. wish haddiscont ongame
Mhmm maybe army of two dc (depends on if I can find a used disc cheaper), all the other multiplat stuff I already got on steam sales… for almost the same price or cheaper… years ago, so much to psn sales. -_-
“you’ll start saving dramatically”
Nah
I don’t play US games
US games doesn’t exist on PS Vita
I would end up importing JP games and it will cost higher
There are some hints that this is not the only sale happening this week ^_-
That logo (double O) was clearly not designed by an engineer.
Nope that logo is intended to scare off ppl!
Just look at the belt inside the two gears, its strangling two ppl and the head of the right guy is already almost severed!!!
Its definitely an omen and a bad one at that.
Like this: “If you guys don’t buy our high priced and now reduced garbage, we will butcher you!”
It’s appropriate time to make a few plans for the
long run and it is time to be happy. I’ve learn this
