Vita webkit hack: memtools_vita 0.3.2 available
Codelion (@bballing1) has been hard at work improving his memory dumper for the Vita running through the Webkit vita hack. The tool is becoming much more of a “community” project and has also received significant contributions from several other devs.
Codelion recently bumped the version to 0.3.2, which he says could be a candidate for a “version 1.0” (meaning he’s happy with the features and stability, I assume)
Changes since we last talked about this tool include hex Search, reverse Search (contributed by @MrNetrix), support for Kernel support, and many, many stability improvements and bug fixes.

As a reminder, this tool relies on the webkkit vita exploit, which requires a PS vita 3.18 or lower to run.

this ploit can work on last ps3 firmware?, Iam still on Urbani 1.81 but I read works fine on 2.60 update but how can dont loose my actual ploit.
don’t update. Several hackers have confirmed that 1.xx is much more interesting than 2.xx or 3.xx for hacking purpose
ok thanks iam still on 1.81 with this iam so happy retro gaming whe I tested my vita from web xploit this send me a error but only if something change could be update mean while i dont need any more.

more interesting as in easier to hack?or better comp ability? once they know the ins and outs of how vita work,wouldn’t they be able to just update their hacks for later firmwares?
so when i got to a test site to see wether my vita can use the webkit exploit it gives me a reaload page like a please wait window pops up then it freezes there so i assume that’s good? im on 3.18
I’m on 3.18, mines gives me a ‘press okay to continue’ sits for a while then ‘Congratulations this vita is vulnerable’
So the vita scene is slowly getting into gears huh? Actually very impressive and interesting.
Might pick up a slim vita this evening with the mega pack… returning to vita gaming.
Since there are some interesting titles out there now.
Seriously can not wait for Homebrew and Emulators on the Vita. Hopefully soon it can be figured out how to get it going. Things I am hoping and waiting on:
Doom (Hopefully can run the Brutal Doom Mod 😀 )
CPS1/2/3 + MAME (Hopefully Latest Version of MAME)
N64 (Only this time, can run close to ALL the N64 Games with HD Graphic Mods)
Dont know but possibly see if Dreamcast can be Emulated
Dont ahve that much space left on my 64GB, but if need be, will transfer the Vita Games onto the 32GB I have and then drop everything Homebrew and Emulator on the 64GB 😀
I believe dreamcast is possible. The instruction sets are very close. The GPU is also very similar (Both PowerVR). If I understand correctly, the closer the instruction sets, the easier emulation becomes
Awesome. Not to mention I can not wait for Doom to be Ported to the Vita. Get both Joysticks, and also hopefully run the Brutal Doom Mod/Expansion.
Probably would not happen, but would there be a way to say take a PS3 Game like Hyperballoid or Magic Orbs to the Vita?
Okay, might as well emulate 3DS too.
3DS GPU (4.8 GFlops) vs Vita GPU (51 GFlops).
3DS Resolution (400×240 + 320×240) vs Vita (960×544)
We got plenty power and resolution to emulate it.

Cant run serv.py with python I have installtion capstone and try to F5 run with python idle it just show me with a”RESTART”message but nothing else.
is it possible to port android apps once vita has been hacked?
yes if u have the source code i think u can
make a port to whatever sdk u want to use.
my best bet is to make a pspsdk based psvitasdk
in javascript like the exploit does.

Because it has less “security tricks”, that means hacking in those is easier. No nid poisoning and stuff like that.
