As if you are not talking about me and my 6 PSPs xD

  2. Chase says:

My Vita was stolen from a friend when I let her borrow it, so at this point I just want any Vita I can get my hands on 🙁

    • CycloneFox says:

What the heck? But if you call her your friend, you should know where the Vita is right now, don’t you?

      • Chase says:

Sorry, it looks like I created some confusion. Someone stole the Vita FROM my friend while she was borrowing it. They broke into her car and stole her purse which also contained my Vita. She lost some valuable things too, so I didn’t want to ask for her to pay for the Vita. Besides, there was no way that was her fault.

        • CycloneFox says:

Oh now I see. That’s harsh. You have my sympathy. I would be so mad if mine got stolen. I hope this thief will rot in heck.

Is there no insurance for theft or anything? Good thing is, Vitas aren’t as expensive as they were anymore. And the Slim one isn’t only thinner but also has a standard USB port…

          • Chase says:

Unfortunately, I did not have any theft insurance.. But you’re right about the prices going down. I may just wait for more Vita hacks then I’ll buy a used one off Amazon 🙂

    • Modasucka says:

Bruh, please tell me you smacked her? How you let someone borrow your handheld and not expect to get robbed?

    • C says:

Well, he did say stolen FROM a friend and not BY a friend.
Let’s hope it was from. Otherwise, yeah, why call them a friend?

      • Modasucka says:

Idk what he means by “My Vita was stolen from a friend when I let her borrow it” That would usually make her the culprit.

    • nebu_187 says:

lesson learned i hope never give anything to nobody, know something might happen to it or it may never return.

  3. CycloneFox says:

Thanks for pointing that out. I was thinking exactly the same. I want to play Freedom wars, but also the fan translation of Type-0 at the moment. Sony is offering good value with updating the system. But you can also bypass some of the necessities of updating.

I will most likely update either my Vita or the PS TV, I’m buying soon. Or I’ll just get another PS Vita to update to be able to play together. xD

Btw. adhoc mode should be possible between an updated Vita and another one running on a lower firmware, shouldn’t it?

    • Max says:

Yes you can use adhoc with lower firmware , I have done this with legit mh3 and the exploited mh3 on ISO,

Also tested battle all stars, cod, and dead or a live also tekken x street fighter

So I assume it still carries in current games .. But no clue I should test DBz since it’s my most recent vita game ,.

Anyone have anything good about ps4 exploit yet ,

I haven’t updated because Ive been on Xbox one .. But the destiny patch has failed us.

  4. ChasingOctaves says:

Great article, I actually just bought a black vita slim 2 days ago to go with my white jp vita slim/w eCFW and I don’t regret it (Ebony and Ivory). As a result I have an extra code for Boarderlands 2 for the vita. I was going to sell it but if someone working on the vita exploit or eCFW wants it, I’ll give it as a thank you for your hard work.

  5. bliss says:

I recently bought my vita more pensadno ‘m already buying another , have more than one helps a lot especially now with forced upgrades

  6. BlumCoLe says:

    Quality rather than quantity! 😀

    I don’t have any FIRST PS4 …just a PSVita.
Same procedure/fear every time: there is an hack available until FW ****. Anyone buy the console and stay on this FW (and the console will be more and more expensive) …later: there is a new hack for a newer FW and *BOOM*…

Same story for the 3DS! 😉

If not …who cares, it’s just a console and the next generation will come. 🙂

  7. HackingIsGreat says:

So will this be like the ps3 where we can hack the ps4 and steal and download ps4 games. I’m not talking about burning games we already own, I’m talking about pirating games we don’t have and building up the collection that way with a ps4 hack. Great news for all!!!!!

    • mink says:

Wow man. They dont do this so you can steal games. Its for homebrew and backups. Why dont you support the devs? If you can afford a Ps4 or vita, you should be able to afford some games. smh

  8. SNgamer says:

I got myself 6 NES and 2 SNES, so i think i am prepared for security reinforcements 😀

  9. Yes says:

    Why not Vita TV?

  10. Akabane87 says:

I’m really wondering how someone could spend another 400$ for a second ps4 with only hopes that the firmaware will be opened one day (cfw or any launcher exploit). I mean, except game piracy, what can you expect more than what you can currently do with an CFW on your PS3 ? There is no homebrew that requires more CPU/GPU power than what is provided with a PS3. So what do you really expect doing with a hacked ps4 ?

From a psvita point of view this is completely different because the lack of CPU/GPU power was actually an issue for some homebrews. So from a developper point of view I would be really happy if we were able to use native code on the psvita. From my point of view, even having emulators on it is not one of my priorities because I already have my phone providing me this kind of stuff.

Now considering the price of a psvita (compared to a ps4) I would eventually be ready to buy another psvita if something really concrete was coming or if I had sufficient free time to actively take part into the hacking scene. But I fear both are missing right now (even if it’s on the right road 😉 ).

  11. xoombie503 says:

I already have 2 Vita’s since before the hacks…I’m not considering another ps4 since the features offered by Sony are really great.I didnt drop $400 to play some homebrew

  12. GDS says:

I bought a Used vita, for when it gets hacked, and guess what? But it got here on the 3.3 FW….
    Guess I selling it….

  13. taliesintaliesin says:

Yes. I have multiple Vitas n multiple Ps4s… and multiple PSNs with multiple exploits too…

  14. mystic_shadow776 says:

So 3.18 is safety zone so why would I need another vita? I don’t care for the online *** I have tnv and enjoy the classics. But for webkit it works on 3.18 I would think the same principles work on say 1.81 I’m no expert coder just a nub. They say lower the better but what advantages does let’s say ur 2.6 to 3.18 for the webkit?

  15. rolenzo says:

Having 2 is the sensible option. I have 2 vitas but 2 ps4s would be too expensive.

I hope we can use true homebrew that takes full advantage of their power.

  16. philippecr says:

I’ve updated my vita to the latest 3.35, and had almost no intention to get another one just for the hacks.

When I’m still in 3.18, I tried the TN-V just for the fun to see how it works, and later found out I don’t really “go back” to the ePSP much, not much on the homebrew. When I pick a vita, first thing I do, play some freaking nice looking vita games.

I enjoy playing emu like gpsp and snes9x, but in a vita, u simply lost access to too much of stuffs like PSN store, newer games, games multiplayer or online features, PS+, and most of the stuff that makes vita a vita.

In the other hand, I have my Nexus tablet that can do emu just fine(minus the physical button of course), without need to worry of “new firmware patches”, new functions will just come in, and I can still access the PlayStore. Which I think it as a more convenient experience then keep on bugging devs to come out new hacks on vita.

  17. meysam25 says:

no secound vita is westing mony
if we have that much mony we can efford hi price for sony game

  18. DigitalChaos says:

I currently own the first Gen Vita with the 3g *** (I say *** cuz i don’t use it) but waiting to see if the 2ed Vita model will have better exploits and if it comes to pass that in hardware wise it isn’t any better than the first one then I’ll just end getting a 2ed one at whatever cheaper but if i have to get the LCD model Imma miss seeing the colors in the OLED one Q.Q

  19. anhell28 says:

im keeping my vita at fw 3.18 and looking into purchasing a used/pre owned ps4 to keep on fw 1.76 since i have updated my ps4 to fw 2.0 already

  20. NeonAera says:

All I have is a PSP, PSP Slim, PSVita, and then PSTV.

Been thinking about getting a PSVita Slim for a while now, but nah, with the OLED screen out on it, that was kind of a dealbreaker for me.. besides I’m on a pretty low budget right now anyway so it wouldn’t be a smart move for me lol. A PS4… man I’m not even going to think about it.. though it is really tempting me..

  21. js says:

I do not think that buying a new or ps4 ps vita is the solution but do not know how to hack the consoles and laptops best to step aside and do not say expert you’re not. Best wololo otherwise dedicate to this is not to know anything principiantes. No serious thought more useful but I was wrong shame.

  22. jesus says:

bueno pues entonces encuentra alguna vulnerabilidad para firmewares superiores y te creo que al igual no se que haces aqui en esta pagina

  23. RagerRabbit says:

i bought a second ps vita for future hacks as well xD

  24. yugoslavija says:

tienes razón, esta persona quien escribio esto a lo mejor trabaja para sony, y desea que su compañia incremente las ventas para las fiestas de navidad y año nuevo.

  25. Advance93 says:

How likely is it that the PS4 exploit will lead to homebrew and backups?

  26. tokia says:

on phillippines PS vita is very low price 3000 pesos only.

  27. GigaGaia says:

Considering this will not lead to any worthwhile exploit, don’t bother buying a second one.

  28. Speedy says:

Should I buy a another ps4 right now or is it better to wait until the holidays sales (aka black Friday).

  29. nebu_187 says:

how about : NO, my wife will beat me to death if i buy another vita, this year i’ve spend 400€ on vita + mem cards

    • lmao says:

lmao i just bought my brother a vita and a 32gb card.

      • nebu_187 says:

ur a good brother then 🙂 , i forgot i also spent 240€ on all the official vita games i wanted, 140€ external hardddisk and 300 € on extra RAM and SSD disk for my laptop so a total of 1080€ on hardware in one year so i cant blame her for getting mad when i start about another vita 😀

  30. I need help, anyone here know where I can buy a Playstation 4 in Orlando on firmware 1.76 ? Thanks

  31. I need help, anyone here know where I can buy a Playstation 4 in Orlando on firmware 1.76 ? Thanks

  32. Raul says:

    No.
If you have ps+ and vita I would rather buy ps3. If you dont have ps+ , i would rather buy games on cards, they will be available when I want and not when Sony wants. I’ve bought Tearaway and Golden Abyss for below 10 euro each, cheaper than in PS Store.

  33. Erich Schneider says:

I would buy a 2nd ps4. I have pretty much run out of space on my 500 gb one, it lasted me a year so that was pretty good. As much though as I know there are ways of upgrading the hard drive and exporting the game saves, I would just perfer to spend the money and get a higher storage ps4 than do all the hastle at the risk of me losing save files and/or DLC’s for the games.

[…] course, some of you will want to consider ignoring the updates and stay on 1.76, in the hope to leverage the webkit exploit, but that’s up to you at this […]
