Agreed about the date format 😀
    d/m/y > m/d/y , metric system>anything else

    • fr4nk says:

d/m/y, m/d/y, they all fail. The ISO standard is yyyy-mm-dd. That way, if you simply sort a list of dates numerically, they all end up in order, without having to code “sort by the third field first, then the first field, and then the second field, delimited by either . or – or /”

  2. BahamutBBob says:

“This would leave us with the American date format (that is weird and illogical)”

Most Americans I know say “October 8th” not “8th October,” it’s just how we say it, and how we’re used to it, so the European way seems illogical to us >_>

    • SuperiorEurope says:

And yet you write it $20, but say “20 dollar”.

Your reasoning is weak & *** and you know it!

    • Anon3 says:

It is the normal way, not the “european way”.

Only the USA and one/two more countries use that f?cked up date format.

      It is ***.

      • ronnie says:

and all english speaking countries put a “?” at the end of their sentence. How are we supposed to know it is a question until then?

        • gamr13 says:

By looking for the what, when, why or how in the beginning of a sentence. Simple.

        • Anon3 says:

Context, pitch of voice (in a conversation), etc.

The american date format is nonetheless totally ***.

Some might say it is “a matter of preference”, but no.

          It is just wrong.

          • ppspa says:

Yeah, when everybody else use KM,Meter we use Miles, feet, when Everybody else use KG, G we use LBS,oz. When everybody else use Celsius we use Fahrenheit. etc. etc etc…..

        • Nebu_187 says:

Seriously is there a country when the question mark comes first and then the sentence, never heard of that lol

          • lol says:

Spanish language, not sure about others
Questions/Exclamations start with [¿] or [¡] and end with [?] or [!], respectively.
            For example:
            ¿Cómo estás?
            or ¡No!

  3. what? says:

I did not even get the point of saying that. At first glance, I was already sure that it is October 8, 2014 and I am not even American. You didn’t have to say illogical or anything like that. That is just illogical. 😀
Maybe you just wanted to make your blog lengthy or you just did not have anything else to say.

“This would leave us with the American date format (that is weird and illogical)”

wow I just lost any and all respect for Z for acting like YOUR format is the superior one…I mean seriously…people like to say americans are the pompous ones….but this comment and the comments of those who follow behind you are pompous as ***

  5. Anon says:

It might be a coincidence, but the much anticipated European update/DLC of a recent top-selling SAO:HF was delayed to the 8th as well. Note that access to PSN, which is obligatory for DLC download, is only possible on the latest firmware (unless people abuse PS Store download queue in the web browser).
By the way, if xSASxZaros was paranoid, he would feel safer if that screenshot was censored to hide dates.

    • xSASxZaros says:

I was thinking that myself, but tbh all it shows is that I bought them.. I actually bought Z.H.P before all this stuff happened because I like the game.. And.. Well, Tekken 2 and Sport Superbike are obviously amazing games…… :3

  6. reprep says:

Bring it on and don’t forget enabling american psn store login for Vita Tv. Not much left till the 15th September.

  7. The Zater says:

    OH my gosh,

Stop complaining about things you don’t like all the time.
THEY WONT CHANGE BECAUSE OF YOU!

Go bury yourself, No one likes you

PS: Think about this one: It’s idiotic how germans count numbers..

    • The Z says:

      You mad, bro?

      My arcticle, my rant.

    • Ummmm Germans count numbers the same as everyone else in the world, the start at one, then go to two, then go to three, then four, then five and keep going upwards until they reach the number they are wanting to reach, just like the rest of the world…

      • The Zater says:

        twentyfour = vier-und-zwanzig (four-and-twenty)

Germans re saying the last number (the four) first… Same thing he’s freaking out of

    • Also to add, if you are referring to the date issue zload has, it is just not him or his country that has it.

As a person from both Britain and Ireland, i use the date format 01/10/2014 to show that the date is the 1st of October 2014, ALL of Europe uses the same format, so you see it is just not a gripe that can be blamed on Germans.

Blame the USA for not adapting to the same date format that most of the world uses 🙂

  8. Chris.Beanz says:

Can anyone tell me what the background pic on that lock screen is from(guy with headphones on and holding up a bar code)?

  9. RikuKH3 says:

On first screen Z.H.P is between Conception and TEKKEN 2. Conception shows date 03/07/2014 and TEKKEN 2 to is 14/09/2014. So it’s obviously is day/month/year format. And is 10/08/2014 most likely purchase date – 10 August.

  10. small44 says:

What’s it’s going on here fighting about date format instead of talking about the main content of the article

  11. wielku says:

At least there is no need to update ’cause PS plus titles for October are all shiet for Vita

    • Anon says:

The disappointment came sooner than expected.
Mark my words, 3.18 will be the firmware of the year. Maybe even the firmware of the two years.

      • Champ says:

        Why do you say that?

        • Anon says:

          Say what?
Disappointment? FW3.30 isn’t bringing anything worth updating (user-generated themes for example) while killing eCFW.
FWoTY? It’s the last quarter of 2014 already, I highly doubt that we’ll get anything better than eCFW and proper PS1 support in the remaining 3 months.
2 years? If the native Vita hack is released and subsequently patched with no better hack in the future, we might very well face PS3@3.55/3DS@4.5 situation.

  12. riddle43 says:

i did a little digging the other day and the new ps plus games come out on that date! it would seem like a new firmware would also since $ony loves to do things all at once. and the date format is that way cause in the 70’s the USA gave up on the metric system so that’s why we have that style of date along with other things. not hard to understand if you know a little about the us and it’s past. Knowledge is power remember that people.

  13. reprep says:

New PS Vita firmware to be released TOMORROW.

  14. lollypop says:

so should u update at a possible firmware update and lose the exploits installed?

  15. small44 says:

Except themes nothing interresting in this firmware, they should update music and video player ,PSP player was better then Vita one

  16. raymond says:

the thing is i wish i can just buy the US games for the psvita but most of those games i saw on the previous list are from another country. and i got 2 memory cards (Both of them are US) so im not doing anymore reseting on the psvita if i have to get a game from another country. I only got a JP, UK so *** hacking the psvita i love to see the new themes anyway lol

  17. libchk says:

The Z : What is the name of theme you are using? Can you share it?

  18. -_- says:

Keep hating the way Americans write the date, it’s not changing anytime soon. It’s funny how people find the dumbest little thing to hate another country and convince themselves they’re superior.

    • The Z says:

Keep hating the way people write their blog posts, it’s not changing anytime soon. It’s funny how people find the dumbest little thing to hate another person and convince themselves that said person gives a single f#ck about their opinion.

    • wololo says:

In The Z’s defense, the way dates are written in the US is totally illogical. There are lots of great things in North America, the way they write dates is not one of them.

      • buddha says:

Not sure why you said north America here, I lived in Mexico for a while and we never right our dates like that. Same as everyone else day/month/year

        • lol says:

Most people refer only to the English speaking counrties when they say North America.
          btw in Asia is YYMMDD

  19. TheUnchosenOne says:

Sony have been really disgusting lately. To think this is what we want? Smh, who gives a damn about themes. All they care about is decorating the system and promoting indie games. It’s been three years!!!. Is it so hard just for them to develop and release a AAA game? I’m tired of this hot mess.

  20. YZ Rum says:

Yo, if there is a chance that one of the exploit games avoids the blacklist tonight or tomorrow, which is highly unlikely, holla at a brother

  21. Lionel_003 says:

How do I install psx games on to the ps1 tekken 2 explort????

  22. nebu_187 says:

oh no!! i am going to cry!! i wont have theme’s! i’m staying on 3.18 and have a good laugh at crappy themes

  23. yugoslavia says:

I hope that will be the last firmware, because my team and me development the firmware crack.

  24. roswell108 says:

Look back at the last 10 Vita game releases you can think of and tell me what day of the week they released on. Was it, perhaps, a Tuesday? It only fits that games would re-release on a Tuesday as well. Now if you plan to launch a firmware update that supports a new feature (themes) that will result in a significantly larger download than usual, would you do it the same day a bunch of games will be up for automatic downloads? No. You do, however, need the update available first to patch the exploits. Most use occurs on weekends, so that would mean having it up and notifying users by at least the 3rd to maximize coverage.

Honestly, it shouldn’t be much of a surprise that they picked tomorrow. Chances are they just weren’t ready today. It is, after all, Tuesday.

  25. Ps Vita 3:18 ?? says:

Wololo how long must we wait for the final editing for ps vita ?? 2 years have passed since the release … I know that there is hope … Thank you for everything

  26. chris skates says:

They did this so we couldn’t have eCFW and minecraft at the same time……minecraft was put into certification last week and still isn’t done…..sneaky Sony is sneaky

  27. riddle43 says:

update is up and on my vita!!!!! im in the US here but i cant find themes on PSN yet but the option to change them is in the settings so i hope there up soon

  28. JCK07115 says:

Just updated one of my Vitas to 3.30.
eCFW and network features, here I come…again!

  29. Wandering Fool says:

For the people that updated. Did the update kill eCFW for all the games?

  30. TibyAndy says:

🙁 just came aboard the PSP emulation on my Vita to play my old PSP games (that I legitimately own), and Sony “fixes” everything… how about giving me a digital copy of every single PSP game I own? I don’t play them on my PSP anymore because it’s analog is dead, and thought Vita would be more worthy the money than a PSP3000…

Well,I’m on PSPlus and got many free games the last 11 months, but I don’t know if I’m willing to give up my loved PSP games for 1-2 new crappy free games a month…

(until someone releases a new exploit :b)

Thanks, The Z, thanks Wololo, for giving me back what SONY could be selling me instead. No one cares about legal game owners…

  31. jake starlingq says:

Am still on Vita OS 3.01 on my PS Vita 1000, and using the FIFA 11 Exploit. Also have the PS Vita 2000, and wanted to know if I should update it from Vita OS 3.18.

  32. laval says:

i already have the 3.30 update and theirs no themes on the play store what’s up with that
