Place a battery inside this display so the Windows can explode in a better way 😉

Darth Vader PSP!!! It’s been a while since I had that. Man I wish I could go back to the PSP day’s. I still can’t believe I’ve been thru 7 psps. Thank God the Vita is still tough. But then again, I’ve been super careful with it.

I think the ac power should be hooked up and it should run a continuous psp logo or some sizzle. Maybe turn it into a digital picture frame. Don’t just leave it like that 🙁

I have had the psp 2000 for the past 4+ years and it is still intact and in working order. Only thing i had to replace was the back housing for the Umd drive after i accidentally snapped it off

  16. Gauban says:

Wonder if the same thing would happen to a psvita seeing how you cant take the battery out without opening it.

  17. josh says:

Anyway, as a reminder, if you’re not using an electronic device for a long period of time, remember to take the battery out!

yea, and what about devices with no removable battery Lol

  18. pokerbob05 says:

Better go and check my Gameboy colour then :-/

  19. mlc says:

lol way to make everybody paranoid. I had to check my PSPs… and now I’m terrified about every other portable I have, most of which don’t have (easily) removed batteries.

I would have buy that cool white starwars darthvader case for 5 maybe 10 bucks

What’s the big deal? People frame stupid stuff all the time. Now if he did an exploded view model similar to this with wire holding everything in place then that would be something to see. Visiting the frame store doesn’t qualify as cool though

Nice idea and from the looks of it well made.
Of course an explosion view would be more astonishing but hey it still nice to look at.

BUT actually nothing for me, the moment I would frame it and look at it, I would get the urge to repair and reassemble it to working condition.

[…] This guy did a pretty cool thing to his PSP after the battery exploded – This looks amazing,  I may actually do this when my PSP breaks, too. ARK 2 and arkMenu go open source. -Nice, although there is only a handful of people out there that may make use of this, any revisions/updates will be greatly appreciated, I’m sure. […]
