FW 3.18 Exploit games are still available – Get one while you can!
As of writing this news, it is currently wednesday evening in Germany, the exploit games got leaked around saturday evening, so nearly exactly 4 days ago.
None of the exploit games has been removed from the playstation store (yet), even though we thought they should be gone by monday morning.
While Sony takes its time to evaluate what has to be removed and what can stay, why don’t you get an exploit game yourself.
You still can, so why not?
There were a lot of games in the leaked archive files, it is estimated that those were around 50, but I guess the actual number is closer to 25, since some of the savedatas were for the very same game, just for the different regions.
Technically Sony has to remove these flawed games, until they either fix the games themselves, what they never do, or until they’ve pushed a mandatory firmware, that is capable of fixing the flaw too. The latter is their usual plan.
The big problem is, what has to be pulled and what can stay?
They can not simply remove every game, just because we put it into the archive and called it exploit games for 3.18.
Not every single one of these games works at firmware 3.18, and they simply can not remove a game, that is not a threat towards their latest system firmware.
I would imagine that removing a game itself is a bad thing for Sony and the publisher, so removing all these games might be quite a problem, since it is not 100% clear which game works at 3.18 and which does not.
They might have begun to remove exploit games as of right now, since it takes some time to publish at news at Wololo’s blog, but if they did not, feel free to keep reading.
Which exploit game should I buy? And why?
Since there are a lot of different exploit games available, most of them for Europe and North America, it is surely a bit confusing to decide which one to buy and which one to not buy.
The general rule is that one exploit game is enough, and that a second one won’t be necessary.
While the PSOne loader PS1 exploit games depend on having a PSP exploit game with TN-V as well, just running TN-V can be done via one PSP exploit game.
But let’s go back to which game is the best for which region.
I will simply list the region and the games next to each other, and will then elaborate why said game is the best for the mentioned region.
Recommended FW 3.18 exploit game for Europe
While not being as perfect as the North American ‘recommended game for firmware 3.18‘, this one is still the best choice for Europe.
The game is ‘Go! Sudoku‘. It costs 3,99€, is ~230 MegaBytes in size and blazing fast.
It is faster than the other European exploit games, and it is similar to Mad Blocker Alpha, the fast firmware 1.81 exploit game.
Just take a look and I bet you will be convinced that this game is a good choice.
Don’t like it? Keep reading, since I have some alternatives for you.
Recommended FW 3.18 exploit games for Australia & European alternatives
Patapon 1, Patapon 2, Space Invaders Extreme or Skate Park City.
All four of these games should be available in every kind of European PSN store, regardless of you living in Germany, Great Britain, France, Spain, Slovenia or another European country.
At least Patapon 1 and Patapon 2 should be available in the Australian PSN store, if not all 4 games. The Australian PSN store is very similar to the European one, so I’ve combined those into one topic. The games also use the same savedata files.
Those 4 games should be available. The games are also very easy to exploit, since it usually is just loading the savedata and then following the onscreen instructions.
If this is not the case, be sure to check the ‘how to trigger.txt‘ file, which should help you to successfully exploit the game.
They are all cheaper than 10€ and if size is your biggest concern, then simply get Patapon 1, as it is the smallest of these 4 games with a bit more than 100 MegaBytes.
Recommended FW 3.18 exploit game for North America:
If you are using the North American PSN Store, then I can tell you that you are a lucky person.
The game ‘Talkman Travel: Tokyo‘ is just 3$, which is dirt cheap, only 18MB in size, why is tiny, and has the easiest way to trigger the exploit since Fieldrunners and Numblast.
I would get Talkman Travel: Tokyo in an instant, if it would exist in Europe. It is cheap, small and triggers on its own. You just have to wait a bit and you are done.
The only downside is, that this game can not run the ARK-2 eCFW (yet). Any other exploit game is capable of running TN-V and ARK (swapping the savedata files might be necessary to switch between the 2 eCFWs).
If you are unable to get Talkman Travel: Tokyo, then just get Patapon 1 or Patapon 2, those games are solid, pretty cheap and easy to use.
Recommended FW 3.18 exploit game for Japan
While I am not entirely sure which games are also available in Japan, I have to say that Patapon 1 and Patapon 2 should be definitely available in the Japanese PSN store, and that those games are easy to use and not too big.
I am not sure how much Yen they cost, but I would assume that it won’t be more than 10€/12$, since those are old and good games.
Recommended FW 3.18 exploit games for the rest of Asia
The Playstation store in Singapore, Hong Kong and other asian countries, that are not japan, is usually a weird mix of the European, Japanese and even North American PSN store, it has ‘a bit of everything‘.
I can confirm that the game Skate Park City is available in the Asian PSN store, and that the game runs fine if you use the European savedata files.
Like I’ve said above, the game is not too big, very easy to use and works without problems.
Some last words
This has been a crazy week, a lot of exploit games were made public, none were pulled (so far) and every region should be covered.
Patapon 1 & 2 covers basically every region, and if one region does not have Patapon 1 or 2, simply use one of the other games that is available.
If you don’t know how to trigger the game at firmware 3.18, be sure to check out this Playlist. If your game is not listed yet, simply wait, since I am adding the missing ones, one after another.
Sony will definitely remove the firmware 3.18 exploit games, they are just taking their time.
They could also release a quick firmware 3.19, that hotfixes the usermode exploits, but that would still leave the kernel exploits unpatched, which would made it still vulnerable, via exploit games that did not get leaked this week.
Time will tell what Sony will do, and how long this has postponed the firmware 3.30, which will, most likely, be delayed by multiple weeks and renamed.
Note: you can donate to Qwikrazor87, the person behind most of these exploits, here.

Well, I wish I knew about talkman before buying gladiator begins. Even so I bought it for its price, small size and easy trigger, totally worth it.
I had Arcade Darts since over a year, bought patapon 2 for 3.18 (before the leak) and bought Go! Sudoku after the leak, today, to be exact.
I basically have 3 exploit games, but for me the faster boot times were worth it.
I bought Gladiator Begins when QR first posted it on Twitter. I went and bought Talkman today for the quick load time and smaller size. Totally worth $3!
I did the same today, launching the exploit through Gladiator Begins was quite a pain if you ask me. The $3 is worth the convenience
Looks like the talkman Tokyo game is getting pulled. It’s in my cart and I can’t purchase it. I get an error everytime.
It did the same thing to me. Check your downloads. It was in mine even though it said I wasn’t able to purchase it!
I can download games in my download list but I cant access the store content or add anything to my cart on my vita or pc.
I’ve been curious if Sony’s realized that all the annoucement(s) of exploit games have probably done has given a boost in sales of said game(s). I mean sure, from a security standpoint they do have to be removed and the exploits patched, but I think they’re milking what they can first.
If I were the CEO of Sony I would visit Wololo.net, find the names of the exploitable games and quadruple the prices of them bahaha! Quick way to make a buck >.<! Im surprised Sony doesnt do this INSTEAD of just pulling said games.
On the other hand, I hope Sony doesnt read this post and do it O_O, I like cheap exploits! lol
We have meeting about…since last night (triple the price). But, it will hurt our reputation as we’re doing catching up work in other fields such as mobiles & music biz decisions.
Sif you’re really a Sony employee haha!
tanx guys
All this while I’m broke v.v and I wish I could just use my Patapon UMD
I still have Patapon on my memory stick from when SCEA gave it away for free 😛 I hope the PSTV comes preloaded with 3.18.
When will the My Stylist files released?
3.15: http://zload.net/v2/archives/file/?id=2417912
3.18: http://zload.net/v2/archives/file/?id=2417940 (buggy)
I would use MyStylist at 3.15 or get a different game for 3.18.
The 3.18 Mystylist files are pretty buggy.
I just stuck with my “old” exploit game skate park city and also bought the Tekken 2 PsOne game cause it still is on sale in the German store for only 1.99€
Skate Park is fine, this was basically just for those who “arent sure what to buy”.
And yea, the german 2€ tekken 2 is just great!
I got Tekken 2 from Sony’s last flash sale for $0.99, lol.
Glad I did.

great post about 50+ ways to get grey 😉
i found a way to download patapon 2 demo pkg for free on store. I will try to install on my Psvita here…
PSP demos fail to install via the Package Installer.
Hi, I have a vita and an EU PSN account. I was wondering if I can get some confirmation:
1) Are these exploit games for VBHL or is it that other one (which I can’t remember the name of but involves ISOs)?
2)I have an issue with activating. Should I get Gladiator Begins Demo (from the list)? It’s free, and involves updating my vita which will fix the activation issue (that’s assuming I can use this demo game AND that the latest firmware is 3.18)
Any quick answers would be greatly appreciated
1) TN-V (ISOs)
2) You can’t get PSP demos on your Vita you will have to buy an exploit game from the PSN Store. Latest firmware IS 3.18.
Yo, ok so I downloaded Talkman Travel: Tokyo, set up all the files and everything and now it loads up smoothly. When I try to add games onto my Vita (Like I used to do with Numblast), they don’t appear on my psp emulator. Am I doing something wrong?
Did you buy the focking game?
We only offer the savedata files, not the game itself.
You have to buy the game from the Playstation store, add the savedata files (that we offer) and then you can do this.
Wow, Calm down! That’s not what I meant. I already have the game. I added the save files and it can boot to TN-V just fine. I meant that when I add my ISO’s from my PC to the Vita through CMA, they don’t appear on my Vita. Sorry if I wasn’t clear enough. sheesh
We usually get “I downloaded the files, the bubble did not appear. This is fake and ***, reported.”
Messages from stupid people.
I didn’t mean to upset you tho. I know you’ve been beyond stress with this. I’ll try to see what I did wrong
You are using a seperate save not the exploit folder right?
If you are adding them through the save file via CMA, make sure they are named with 8 letters all in caps and CSO or ISO (also all in caps). I ran into a similar issue because the extension wasn’t capitalized.
Yeah, Alpmaster. I tried that the first time, I couldn’t find the files on my vita. I’ll try again tho. Man, I haven’t done this in a while. And, Roswell108, right now I’m adding my emulators so I made sure that they say .ZIP at the end. I’ll figure out the problem
Here’s what you can do VitaLoveTroubles get the FTP recovery eboot from Smokes thread and place the recovery.pbp file into the exploit games save folder. Then enter TN-V’s recovery menu and choose Run program at /game exploits save folder/recovery.pbp. Then the FTP program will run (make sure your vita’s wifi is on or it will not work.) Then use a FTP program on your computer to transfer psp games. I personally use FireFTP on the firefox browser. FF Type 0’s file size was so large pspfiler wouldn’t work for me to install it. FTP was the only way I found out that worked for me. Also I suggest using the cma method to install ps1 since the games seem to show up for installation, plus it’s faster to transfer from your pc to psvita.
Thanks, I managed to install TN-V10 on my vita using Talkman..
What are the best exploitable game for vita TV(asian, HK account), I want to play ps1 games and the same time play my PSP games on TV..
Thanks for the reply..
Check the “asian countries” part.
You missed important info for asia. You can’t buy skate park city from the vita itself but only from the online store and then use your download list on the vita to get the game onto your vita.
whoah really? So I’m gonna buy skate park city through teh internetz and then check my purchase list at my vita PSN then download it? Am I following right?
Yes
thanks! skate park city it is, can tn-v10 properly play PS1 games? Can you give link for tutorial?
I’ve been browsing your site for some time, and your tutorials are awesome! I managed to install ISO and plugins on TN-V10 just this day just by browsing here..
Whew already bought ZHP, Gladiator Begins and Patapon 1. I wish I had 1$ more so I can grab Talkman Travel: Tokyo. Buying a 10$ worth card just for this seems wasteful.
ZHP has been enough for TN-V.
So would’ve been patapon 1.
You dont need 3 games. ZHP and Patapon 1 are quite fast too.
I gave it to greed and tried to get the best loader. Well, I didn’t regret spending money to buy them. I only wish I have 1$ more left on wallet so I can grab TTT too. :>
Thanks Z,
Great article! I was wondering which exploits were automatic, quick, and not very big for US region. This helped a ton! I’m stoked about how small it is and how quick it executes. Thanks again!
Even though I already had Glad Begins on my US account I went ahead and bought the Talkman game since its way smaller and fast too! Was worth the 3 bux haha!
great! lol go! sudoku it is! my third exploit game already but the fast boot can’t compete with that
Thanks a lot Z. This is just the type of info I was currently looking for. #iFistBump
Hi there.. activating cxmb through 3.18 with gladiator exploit gives me “BSOD ERROR” can someone link me to a non buggy compatible cxmb to prevent bsod on activating cxmb plugins??
Ok, here’s the CXMB plugin that TN customized for TN-V. This is the only one that you should use on TN-V. If you’re using the Game Categories Lite plugin with TN-V, as well, make sure that the GCL plugin is listed first in your VSH.txt file hierarchy, then list this CXMB.prx plugin. If you’re not using GCL, then place the CXMB plugin first in the .txt file.
CXMB (for TN-V) plugin download : http://www.mediafire.com/download/a2j0c913p116p18
I really appreciate this… I dont know that there is such one for tn . Ill be checking it later today.. hope it works… Thank you so much for the help..
No problem. This is the version of CXMB I’ve been using since TN released it. It’s always worked for me. GL yo.
how long did sony take to update the fw last time there was kernal exploit. anyone know, im a asking as im getting a psvita tv when it comes out in 3 weeks,
I bought Gladiator Begins, it has the most annoying music after the gamesave load. should i get Talkman Travel: Tokyo. does Talkman Travel: Tokyo have a faster load time and better over all than GB?
i am happy with just on exploit, but if Talkman Travel: Tokyo loads faster, runs things better. well its worth it. too bad i wasted money on GB.
i am concerned where there are so many exploits now. things will be divided and having to wait longer for compatibility? Will Homebrew work better with Talkman Travel: Tokyo, than GB? etc….
I will buy Talkman Travel: Tokyo if it is the best, or Patapon or another exploit? i want to buy now!!! lol
thanks.
The Z answered this question with great clarity in his article. What exploit is ideal for you, depends on what region you’re in. If you’re in the NA region, here’s what The Zett wrote:
“Recommended FW 3.18 exploit game for North America:
If you are unable to get Talkman Travel: Tokyo, then just get Patapon 1 or Patapon 2, those games are solid, pretty cheap and easy to use.”
Thank you for the advice, i did just get Talkman travel: Tokyo, just to be safe.
thanks again
You’re welcome. I just bought TTT today. Glad there was an exploit for this FW that had the Numblast type speed and ease.
i need 20 ppl to help me to get a $10n psn card to buy a exploited game
if you can helpme just download WHAFF from play store (android) and add your facebook acc and write the invitacion code AA89117 if you can help me thanks for your help
Im on IOS. Wish to help you.
Whoaaa, Lucky!
I registered to this site a few weeks ago, after upgrading from 1.81 to 3.18 knowing there would be a Ninja release one day. Not long ago I red it was going to be delayed after release of fw 3.30 (which was wise actually) and left it like that for a few days, being busy at work.
I came here tonight just to check the global news and here’s what I’ve found!
How to explain the rush I’ve been into for half an hour, trying to retrive my pwd, change my credit card (well charge it also) and downloading go Sudoku before it’s too late?
Thanx for the list and overall synthesis Wololo, you did simplify my search, I’ll check the rest tomorrow, I can go to bed relieved 😉
I was in the same boat myself mate lol. I seen the news about the Gladiator Begins exploit nearly 24 hours after it was posted so I was panicking that id missed ANOTHER exploit! Turns out that GB game wasnt even for sale on the Australian PSN (made me nearly punch my screen LOL).
So I too rushed to create a US PSN account (i had bought a new Vita memory card the same day so i was lucky didnt need to wipe my old Aussie account one!), found that GB was STILL for sale on US PSN store, phew! Then I tried to add funds via my Aussie MasterCard….ERROR, wouldnt accept it on US account! Started to panic LOL! Seen the post about buying US PSN cards via Amazon, so I tried to buy one…ERROR, wouldnt accept my Aussie address! Started to REALLY panic LOL. So i typed in my CC details with an American address (NASA spacestation to be exact bahahah!) and it WORKED!
Bought a US $20 PSN card (I wanted more credit than 10 bux JUST in case), added it to my new US account, bought the game, downloaded it and prayed my net wouldnt go down (as my modem screws up sometimes)…but it didnt thankfully! Got the game, found the files, installed it and BINGO – TN-V10 ^_^!
Turns out in retrospect that I didnt need to panic so much since even now 4 days later the game is STILL for sale/download on the US PSN, not to mention the MULTITUDE of exploitable games list that was posted a day later LOL. But of course I/we all didnt KNOW this was going to happen, so best not to take the risk!
So please fellow scene members get an exploitable game while you still can, who knows how long it will be before we get another one in the future!
Oh and make sure to tell your family and friends who own a Vita go about the exploitable games, so as many ppl as possible can get in on one!
Actually I gave the guys I speak to at EBGames, CEX and Gametraders the names of a few exploitable games, as they were Vita owners (I talk to them most days im out shopping). They were very thankful as some didnt even KNOW about TN-V and those that did were still running old 1.81 exploits. Ironic ay, ppl who sell games were into the whole FREE homebrew scene haha…and a few; no names of course, pirated games LOL yes, EBGames STAFF pirates haha!
When he tell Go sudoku is faster as patapon or the other xploid is only in time in launch Tn-v or the emulator is more fast?
-Thanks wololo 4 the info
Thanks to quikrazor87 & acid_Snake 4 the ausome work
launching
Tried go suduko and arcade darts it says can’t download to vita but most games are still on the US psn
I thought about getting a new exploit game as recommended but then I saw that Disgaea 2: Dark Hero Days is in the list as well. I already have the game from US PSN but the table only list “EU, JP”. Does that mean this game exploit doesn’t work for the US version or is it simply a mistake?
Is the talkman game still available??? Dont want to load 10 bucks for nothing
I bought the Talkman game a few hours ago for my US PSN account (im an Aussie) and it was still available as of then. Dunno about now though.
I’m in the same boat is talkman still available, i need to know so I can pirate games.
Bad idea posting that here mate, piracy is not condoned on this website and forum (nor on any other reputable Vita/PSP scene website!) Can get you banned on here!
But to answer your question, Talkman was available as of a few hours ago when I bought it…so might still be there! But hurry as Sony can remove it at any time!
any free game?
Sorry to ask. Can you paste the link of the tutorial to install tnv as well as how to run the exploit
look in the forums.. it’s called /Talk
Holy ***, Patapon 1’s on the list? I got that game for free when Sony was giving it away, and it’s still in my download list!
Then download it before they pull it from the store! Just being in your download list isnt good enough as if they pull it, you wont be able to get the game, regardless if its in your list or not!
I already got it that night before I went to bed, now I have eCFW (TN-V10) and am putting some PSP games onto my Vita now.
…Well, ***, I just now remembered piracy’s a bad thing on here. Oops.
Psn isnt working
Have a bunch of ps3 games on my acct im willing to share if someone can help me to get an exploitable game as i cant download arcade darts to my vita
.__. i just added us20 to my wallet to buy an exploiteable game and psn isnt working e.e
“The connection to the server or device has been lost (NP-2239-6)”
maybe they are blacklisting the games 🙁 uwu
sorry for the noob question, but i couldn’t find it anywhere: just to be sure, is there any way to return to the psp emulator after you start a psp game or do you have to quit, reload the exploit again?
adding, thanks a lot totalnoob, qwik and eveyone who helps the vita scene.
maskofsin :Start+select
arigatou gozaimasu!
Aaaand its gone.
Thanks Z. Got the talkman exploit today. Way better that gladiator begins
I wish I could have an eCFW for the patapon exploit. However I won’t complain with what I got (hbl) I can run emus. I’ll be on 3.18 until sony can convince me to download something from ps plus again. then its back to my psp and phone for emulation.
So I had Talkman Tokyo in my cart, and went to checkout. I got errors checking out and was unable to. Now, my cart shows 0 items and I can’t even go to it (I get an error). I can look up Talkman Tokyo in the store, but if I click “Add to cart”, it tells me it is already in my cart, even though my cart shows 0 items. Thanks Sony…… I am currently unable to add anything to my cart now or even view it.
!!! If you have a ps3 you can still get the game by downloading it to the ps3 then transfer it to the vita.!!!
You better hurry
“They are all cheaper than 10€ and if size is your biggest concern, then simply get Patapon 1, as it is the smallest of these 4 games with a bit more than 100 MegaBytes.”
It says in store, that patapon 1 is 309 MB! Space Invaders Extreme is only 35,3 MB (just checked the size of my backup file to make sure) and is also a fast trigger. I know it’s more expensive than most other games, but if size and speed are important, it’s a good option!
Maybe he meant Patapon 2? I know that one of them is only 100+mb, I seen it myself!
Patapon 2 is listed with 385 MB in store. Maybe those numbers are incorrect, i don’t have either patapon 1 or 2 so i can’t tell.
The exploits are back up for purchase, just checked and purchased Talkman Tokyo!!! Happy Exploiting!!
