How to: Using the PS1 exploit
So now that the once secret PS1 exploit and loader are public I am sure there are some wondering how exactly to make use of them.
First you will need to buy and download to your Vita either Tekken 2 or XS Moto(Sports Superbike 2 in EU)
Next download this pack of loaders for all three games

Now transfer the save file for your game of choice to your Vita like you would any PSP save.
OK! Cool so time to start the game and trigger the exploit! Now I only have XS Moto so I will only be able to show you guys a video of that one, As for the rest well
Tekken 2: Start up Survival mode and lose the match
Sports Superbike 2: Load the save game via the options then start a 2 player race
XS Moto: Again load the save from the options section then load either a single or 2 player race
Sweet so now we are in the loader! But what now? How do you get games onto it?
Well afaik it only looks in PSP/GAME/ for any PS1 eboots, So what we will need to do is somehow get our games into said folder.
Now the way I was doing it was installing the games with TN-V then just running them from the PS1 loader so I could get 100% compatibility. I do not know if there is any other way unfortunately.
Anyway to make the games play bigger?
Just hold the ps button, go into the game settings. You can change the size there.
Does this work on tv-v 3.01 mega mix exploit.
Do I need to download this game to my ps3 and transfer to vita. Or do I need to upgrade to 3.18 and get latest gladiator game and the get tekken2.
I just want to know if this works on 3.01 and how compatible is it with ps1 games.

XS moto on us psn does work on 3.18, but i don’t know if it works on 3.01 or not. just try it, if you got a ps3. if it doesn’t work update to 3.18 and get a new exploit game.
So there’s no way to get the PS1 games into PSP/GAME/ without doing another exploit first?
So any confirmations US Tekken 2 Copy works??? So far only EURO copy looks like its working.
I’ve already said on here multiple times that the US version is working. I’m on 2.12 with the Gamocracy TN-V exploit and the Tekken PS1 exploit
Tekken 2 US exploit on 3.18 plain and simply doesnt work, even The_Zett said the files are buggy. It might work on a lower firmware, but 3.01 and 3,18 doesnt.

Great it works for you on 2.12 but does not seem to work for others on 3.18. XS Moto is better choice anyway. Smaller size and quicker to load exploit.

not for now unfortunately. i hope playstation tv comes with firmware 3.18 or below or someone makes jp save files for the 2 games.

I am also having some issues with getting Tekken 2’s exploit running. After failing the survival match, it goes to a blue screen. Is this not working?
I think the tekken 2 was for a lower firmware cause I just tried it too with a black screen and error code. The XS Moto on the other hand worked like in the video. NOTE: If you look at the RAR file you can see that each of the fill have a number like 180, 310, and 315 next to each save. That should note that in the article.
Tekken 2 exploit launches fine for me on 3.18, you must be doing something wrong.
If you go to zload.net they have the updated Tekken 2 (US) files for 3,18

I always go with the size of the game. Tekken 2 is too big to use as just a loader. This is why I have King Of Pool also. Both are small and don’t eat up space for more important titles.
Tekken 2 is the perfect game for me. I love fighters and love Tekken. Suit yourself! 😛
But if I am correct it seems the Tekken 2 exploit is only for 1.80 and below? I tried it on my 3.01 Firmware Vita and just get an error message. If this can exploit can be updated then cool if not thanks anyway. 🙂

I haven’t done much with my Vita in a while, and it’s still on 2.12. Will this hack work on it? If not, I guess it’s time to upgrade… PS1 games with perfect sound would be a good incentive.

yes, you need two games, one for ps1 loader and one for ecfw.
I bought the game a few seconds ago, this looks really awesome! I won’t be able to transfer it for a while, someone has my Ps Vita charger right now. Sony won’t remove this game, and the transfer feature will they?
yes, they will remove the game., and when they do, you won’t be able to download the game. download it and back it up to your computer as soon as you can.
Well I have it on the PS3 already, but if they remove the transfer feature temporarily, who knows how long I’ll have to wait. Well, I hope I get this one. I was wanting to run single disk eboots to save space. Legend of dragoon is like 1.3gb, and I’d rather play one disk at a time (400mb).

I just tried xsmoto on 2.06 fw. It loads game save but freezes after trying to start single player.

Weird, the tekken 2 exploit doesn’t seem to work on my vita. Just gets a black screen then an error with C1-2858-3 pop up.
I was getting the same error, I went and got XS Moto instead and its so much smaller and faster to load and no errors…
Nevermind, in the rar file it kind of specific their firmware version next to each save and tekken is 180 while XS Moto is 315. Maybe it was patch as I tried XS Moto and it works.

I just tried 3.01 with Xs moto on TN-V megamix it loads the game save and then shows the black screen menu
It displays “PS1 Loader by total noob menu. but i cannot move the controls. I dont have any PSx games copied to it, but not sure if this is matters.
It was alot better than 2.06 freezes in singler player start after i load the game save. that is running 2.05 TN-V9.5 megamix
The 3.01 is running 6.60 TN-v4 – should i update TN-V version? it might help me.

Im getting C0-13780-9 from trying to transfer tekken 2 from my pc to vita
If you are using QCMA, usually I get an error when I try to copy any savedata because I have a lot of save data from my PSP days. So usually putting the one exploit save folder in the directory and then refreshing the database allows you to successfully transfer the exploit savedata. If this doesn’t work then try using OpenCMA if not already. Feel free to move the other saved-data back to its original spot after you are done.

Im not loading a save, i downloaded the game from my other vita put it in my pc and transferred to my hacked vita.and yes both have the same account ive done this a couple of times

i get the same result for my newly updated from 2.06 – 3.18 and 3.01 megamix. both load the gamesave, load the menu then i cannot do nothing. it may be because i dont have any psx games transfered. i dont know how. if someone can help, i can report back on the 3.01 and 3.18 XS moto

So far so good – Gladiator Beings is fully working & I also get perfect PS1 audio on legit PS1 games purchased through PS Store on the Vita, CWCheat’s works fantastic. Nice job. Only issue now is exiting PS1 games but this appears to be an issue with TN. Holding PS home button traditionally brought up the PSP’s menu screen and then the Vita’s on top of that. I could close the vitas and see the PSP’s which allowed me to kill the PS1 game but it’s no longer present. Anyone elsse having issues closing PSP/PS1 games?

hi, i would like to know if we are going to be able to play ps one games with tnv 10 gladiator begins so far it seems that tekken and xsmoto dont work on 3.18
i´m on 3.01 with the megamix 101-in-1 exploit and tn-v… will tekken 2 (eu) work with this? this is the only psx game i find in the eu store :/ can´t see xs moto or sports superbike 🙁 or will i need to update on 3.18 and get the gladiator beginns game also?

Does the loader only display a set number of games? I’ve got 16 installed showing up, but I’ve installed two others that aren’t displaying in the PSP Loader menu (but they show up in TN-V).
