    UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE!:
THIS ONLY AFFECTS: EUROPE, OCEANIA, PARTS OF AFRICA & ASIA.
THIS DOESN’T AFFECT THE USA/JAP STORE YET.

Welcome to digital purchasing guys. Your consoles become obsoleted at the end of their lives, as will your purchases in the long run.

Think about this each time you buy anything via digital distribution.

I’ve been downloading games for my PSP using the Media Go software for years now, so this doesn’t affect me in any way. Nevertheless, I found out about these changes after purchasing some games on PSN and not being able to download them using Media Go after I installed the new update (the software didn’t say anything about that, I just received a random error.) So I had to look it up and Google and I came across some articles like this one. For people who use the PSP to download games, this measure probably sucks, but the portable console doesn’t have a great processor, so downloading games was probably a pain anyway. Still, it’s a shame that Sony won’t continue supporting that feature anyway.
