    Welcome back!

“Also note that this WILL NOT install on your PS3 if you are on a custom firmware higher than 4.53. In such case you will need to use a downgrader pup to get to 3.55, and upgrade again. (I suggest Rebug’s 999 Downgrader)”
I don’t get one thing, will this work only if you have a cfw already installed, or there is a way to downgrade with 4.60 ofw installed?

    I have a CECH-3003A
Can anyone confirm whether it works or not?
Should I risk it for science?

Is there a one-to-go guide for PS3 custom firmwares? All the information seems so scattered on the web. Just want to know if my console is customization and how to proceed with it.

I actually helped test out a fully backwards compatible PS3 with this firmware and updated Joonie on a few things. To anyone who has a backwards compatible PS3 there are some things to know:

    1. The previous 4.53.3 Rebug w/ Cobra (updated by Joonie) firmware had issues with fully BC PS3s. For some reason, PS2 ISOs and PS2 retail discs would not launch. After informing Joonie, we discovered that the ps2emu files from Rogero 4.46 Cobra would fix this issue (mostly), but resulted in a small bug. This bug was when you’d press the PS3 Button during a PS2 game, the menu that would pop up would be mostly black. I’m unsure whether or not he has included the Rogero files since yesterday, if he has, then disregard my saying this.

I have original Rebug 4.46.1, and I am waiting for more tests of the unofficial release.
