You better make PSM world wide first

Expect to see a lot of iOS and Android ports on Vita soon.

I don’t think that we will.

However with Unity being built-in we might see games like Slender, etc. Appearing for the PS Vita more so than the ultimately boring (At leased to me) Candy Crush Saga, etc, etc.

I could see more game coming like Wonder Flick, Puzzle and Dragonz or etc. I have been fiddling/tampering with a few android titles, mostly using Unity as their engine.

but is not able able us account

  4. Been done took advantage of this since the public preview, I havent been active on the site because i’m working on the first zombie fps game for Vita and pushing the Playstation Mobile graphics to the limit

Maybe now that they’ve given us a bigger SDK to work with some developers can kindly leave a few glitches in their code so we can exploit them. ^.- Really kidding, no clue how that would work.

Not enough freedom to work around I guess (?)
Like I don’t think you could make a game like Golden Abyss or WipEout 2048 in the first place so…?

      I’m not entirely sure tho

So Sony didn’t want the PS Vita to be an indie console, but after they failed porting many AAA titles & the Vita started dying, they decided to update the PSM SDK & try making it an indie device.

The question becomes “who will buy more than one or two of these PSM titles, when they’re sold at two to ten times their price on any other device?”

I already own an android phone and iPod Touch and Kindle Fire; hopefully I’m wrong, but I believe that games with the same pricing on PSM and Google Play are the exception rather than the rule. (I did however just check Chaos Rings, since I figured it would be ridiculous since it was already pricey on mobile, and it’s still 7.99 so hopefully that is true of most of the “better” PSM games)

Most PSM games are actually at a reasonable price since Sony’s own takes from the sales aren’t as high and there is no cost for the SDK. Native Vita ports are usually expensive because of the devkit cost and I think Sony’s portion is a bit higher.

Nice! I’m looking forward to this 🙂

I really do hope either ARK or TN-V eCFW or both find their way to the ps vita ofw 3.15!

I’m not a developer and far from understanding what PSM can really do, and Unity to be honest. However, I think we might just be able to get hidden* emulators on to the store, exactly like the Baby Names app for iOS which happened to contain a GBA emulator by using a secret code (of arrows?) to get into it which was later removed. As for ROMs I’m really not sure how that’ll work but I’m sure something could work linking that emulator to a Google Drive (Or Dropbox) account and automatically run the ROM from there.

That is if Sony doesn’t check the app thoroughly….

    • hgoel0974

They actually don’t check very thoroughly but one of their terms states that no hidden features are allowed, additionally, they would probably notice that there’s way too much code for an app that’s only supposed to be a text editor (for example)

Hopefully this might result in some good Playstation Mobile games.

Just tried: awesomeness averywhere. I just ported some of basic Unity scripts to work with PS Vita (Movement and Camera Rotation with the two sticks, FPS-like), just ask here if you need them. Got to try a bit to make them work. Possibilities for games are now “unlimited”, meaning that every game we want can be made, and even an AAA game can be made out of this. The only limit is the sky(?!?) or maybe just ps vita specs. What could I say? I think we’ll get a LOT of new games from now, and I think I will develop my new game exclusively for PS Vita.
Thank you Wololo and who wrote this for letting me know about this!

    • Madara Shippuden

Can you port android decompiled games to the vita that way?

      • Madara Shippuden

        Like smash hit or N.O.V.A.?

        • Simizfo

You can directly port only Unity made games, the only changes to make to these games are the way control works, and Graphics adaption. But think about games like Starforge, on steam, that is made with Unity: Adjust controls and Graphics, and you can run the game on psvita without editing a single line of code!

    • Madara Shippuden

And can you give me these scrips + the touchscreen scrips and other button scrips or I am asking too much.

I guess that means we can start getting unity games like some of the ones PewDiePie and Markiplier play.
