Best PSP/Vita homebrews for May 2014
Every month we publish a list of the best Vita and PSP homebrews as voted by our community over the previous month. You can add your own homebrews to our /downloads Database, and vote for your favorite ones. This doesn’t require any login.
This month’s votes feature a nice balance of emulators, utilities, and homebrew games:
10. Wagic, The Homebrew
Often compared to commercial games for its replay value and quality, Wagic is a heroic fantasy card game, in which you fight as a wizard against the computer. As you win battles, you unlock new game modes and earn credits that allow you to improve your army. Wagic is community driven, entirely customizable (you can create themes, mods, even new rules), available in several languages (English, French, German, spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese, Serbian), and open source. It currently runs on the Sony PSP, Android, iOS, Windows, Linux, and N900 (maemo).

9. 6.60 ME
Neur0n’s ME CFW was recently updated to support more features on firmware 6.20 (see here), although people on firmware 6.60 will want to download the 6.60 ME Below

6. Lamecraft
If you know the PC game Minecraft, you will feel at ease with this genesis entry which reuses the same concept: allowing grownups to play with blocks like little kids. LameCraft is for now just a sandbox that allows you to build a 3D world to your liking.

Lamecraft itself hasn’t been updated in a while, but it generated a massive community and we are seeing some great activity from some of its unofficial mods. Check the latest version of Minecraft PSP – [LC Mod]!

I love how wololo is still in the top homebrews
2nd 1st. Lol
I love how the advertising doesn’t match the tone of this websites interests and gaming preferences of those who visit this site.
I think you’re referring to the mgid ads. This is an ongoing experiment, I’m following up with them to see if this can be changed. They have pretty relevant gaming ads so I am trying to understand why this is showing only links to dating sites (unless they are targeting me explicitly, lol)
wololo is sound like when you put your tongue in to “thing”
I guess
Boring.
It’s alway same old homebrew
How about a best psp, vita homebrew released this month
(Yeah even it’s suck but i want to see new homebrew too)
Alice in: Pasta Crocket, the Ubuntu PSP Shell, LC-mod are all fairly recent and were created this year
Really do appreciate all the time & effort you put into being a webmaster for this community. In order to maintain the financial side of a webserver, you need ads, huh. As long as it provides a substantial benefit for you, then who cares what ads appear.
PSP Ubuntu shell is awesome. Almost reminds me of the early days of android.
Its not necessarily the new PSP homebrew that is boring; but actually the same focus being diverted to the PSP rather than a native vita exploit, but that can’t magically happen overnight, unless a miracle breakthrough occurred. If anything, the community should respect you for your effort and knowledge throughout the scene here. I have yet to play Wagic, as I’ve never played it before. I liked Metal Gear Acid 1 & 2 very much, so I’m expecting it to be awesome. Thanks for all the dedication towards the scene, and to everyone else contributing. I understand you have a life as an individual too, as well as a wife and a child, and still find the time to provide for the scene.
nice set of sunday updates 🙂

cant use it not on us store 🙁
For me, there are 4 ads for women to lose weight. I think your country’s language plays an important part, if there are no gamin/harware ads (i.e., in spanish) it will show whatever other ads.
Lol, I get money making scheme adds.
Ouch. Someone made a shell based on Unity. It looks pretty cool though.
Lol it was just to upgrade my lua coding skills, to develop various functions and such. I haven’t updated in quite a while 😀
most of them are here because the easter egg hunt (if they are selected by popularity) but i love mos of them (lamecraft, my god the waiting for the oficcial minecraft is too long!)
