Wololo, WTH happened to your blog???
Yup, yup, yup. I created this blog 6 years ago, never changed the installed template even once. I had set my mind on the Tarski template 6 years ago, switched its background color from black to white, back and forth a couple times, and that was it.
But times change. People kept telling me the old design was ugly, and, most importantly, it didn’t work well on tablets and phones. So here I am, with a fully responsive template for the website, and all the headaches that come with it as a webmaster.
Yes, if you are used to this site, this must be a shock to you. The links have changed places, the stuff you knew where to find is not where it used to be. Hey ,nobody really likes change, but I promise: everything’s still here, you’ll get it eventually. I believe the new design is more in line with how this blog has evolved now into a more diverse scene website. I’ve put the main categories at the top, so that people interested only in a specific console can check it out instantly.
Last but not least, it should look much better than the older theme on your tablets and mobile phones.

The ads on the page now lags my computer and i get confused… also the ads at the end of the post look really bad… out of that, it looks good!

I actually think the new change is nice. I liked the old website just fine but change is not a bad thing. I do notice the ads pop out a heck of a lot more, but then again thats how people pay for their websites these days so I do not mind at all. That and im intelligent enough to know how to avoid ads that they dont bother me :P.

it doesn’t look good with a display resolution of 1280×768 aka WXGA

Looking slick like the fact that you cared enough to change it for the people on phones and tabs and i hope it goes over well. change is inevitable but at least it looks nice and will be a moment in your history on the net. Keep up the good work for years to come cant wait to enjoy it for the next (6 years) lol JK good job

Very modern layout!
However, now the RSS feed only shows snippets instead of full stories. As someone who almost exclusively uses RSS, this is a bit of a problem.
Any chance we could get the feeds to show full stories again?

As a designer I would like to say that this is a better template especially if you want it readable from mobile devices.
But there is too much information and too many links ,favorites, featured.. and so on…
Try to clean the things up and everything to have one specific location and this would be a great update
Change is good, accesibility nothing has change for worse so all in all good. looks legit, font could be adjusted a bit… page views is always better for the brand. good luck

Understandable changing things up for tablet people, but I wish there was an easy way for me to have desktop format without changing user agent every time I come here, being on a phone and hating mobile versions as I do.

just opened this site this morning with a long ” WHOOOOOOOOOOOO!”
I’m not a big fan of the new design, but I might grow to like it over time. I can understand why you’ve chosen it, but I think it would look a bit better if you made the font and size of the menus on each side smaller. This looks like “*** website” to me.
But if shrinking those elements breaks mobile use, I can largely agree with the design. My bias due to other sites like this might cloud my judgement; I may very well realize it’s wonderful (or fine) once I’m acclimated to the new design. (also long time readers are more likely to have a “what happened?!?” reaction anyway, so I can’t really judge fairly until a few weeks from now)

well,shocked but good to see the change,it works great on my Android phone. it’s much more pretty than before,at least in my opinion
well,after seeing the site on PC, I’ve changed my mind, the new template makes it harder to read on PC, the structure of the page also seems to become more complicated.

I personally hate 3 column blogs. The old site was much more readable. Not this just looks like every other *** blog out there. No personality at all 🙁

I use Feeds to read all your posts but now full stories won’t show… mmm this’ll prove problematic.
Also would you consider Disqus instead of this comment system, I enjoy Disqus better than this. Cleaner and faster interface/ 😀
I can say as an ipad user that i do not like the redesign.
I liked simple text layouts.
Pictures and stuff everywhere is very very distracting.
I almost though the site was hacked.
Forgot to mention. I had zero issues navigating the site before the redesign.
I’M so shock and think that i’m on the wrong website ,…. funny me… never forget that website….
