Hey, so we’ve got a bit to report on this week, including the likes of giant mech spiders, mugshots, and Destiny gameplay!

It was a given that Freedom Wars and Soul Sacrifice were going to be localised, but we were just waiting for the announcement.

Next up we’ve got some good news for the Minecraft fans out there. The game has a set release date on PS4/Vita for around Q2/Q3, Owen Hill, A mojang rep told us when replying to a comment in the PS Blog.

Hopefully we’ll have some more solid details at E3 in June, along with a possible announcement of inFamous Vita, if anyone remembers that Nate Fox leaked all the way back in August

Someone say Watch_Dogs?

It seems like everyone is actually saying that name at the moment, so I’ve found some news and a few videos worth watching.

 

First off though, Ubisoft have released a picture of some buildings in the game world compared to Google maps, and it looks marvellous, for a bigger shot of it, just click on the photo:

Giant Mech Spider.

 

Yep, in Watch_Dogs, you can control a giant mech spider and go on a rampage, as part of a mini-game on your smartphone known as ‘Digital Trips’, there’s also other mini-games on the phone like invaders, and also a zombie one they haven’t announced any details on.

There has been some more information about PS4 update 1.70 after originally announcing it and a date when The Z wrote a blog on it here.

As of that time, the only features known were that you could turn HDCP off, so you can capture gameplay, and also a video editing app known as ‘Sharefactory’, more recently announced features include the heavily requested ability to dim the light bar, the ability to pre-download games before release, and also the possibilty of an mp3 player app so you can play your own music, you can also import your own music to the Sharefactory app, so this would make sense.



I’m sure there’s still some people who play the CoD series, right?

 

Well they’ve released their first image of this years installment, and it looks amazing. Although there’s no saying whether this is CG work or actual gameplay, it is still impressive nonetheless.

Remember, the shinier the surface, the better it looks.

 

The face itself looks brilliant, which must be because of facial capture technology, but I can’t help but look at the helmet strap, and notice that it’s a bit blotchy, which kind of takes away how brilliant the face is…

Infamous Second Son is the next game to be picked up on in this weeks article, I’m sure whoever has been playing it has had a good playaround with the ‘Photo Mode’ feature in it. Well there’a a few that have made it online that are absolutely hilarious, here they are:
