“The Last of Us” is Coming to PS4
During an interview with the Turkish CNN, Sercan Sulun, Software Marketing Manager of Sony’s Eurasian division, had a bit of a lip-slip. The game has also been accidentally listed on a Spanish game retail site.
Wondering what exactly Sercan Sulun said? Here you go:
There is no information about a new The Last of Us game but I can share this knowledge: As of this summer, The Last of Us will be on the PS4. Both on PSN and physically
He afterwards added that the game would include the Left Behind DLC, have improved graphics (it’s going to be beautiful), and most importantly, it would be a definitive version.
What was Sony’s reaction to this? When approached by Joystiq, they spoke out with the usual corporate style of denial:
At no time have we announced that The Last of Us is coming to PS4 and therefore, have nothing to say on the subject.
Oh really? Then why Sony, was a The Last of Us PS4 version listed for pre-order on a Spanish game retail site?
XtraLife, before taking it down, had the game listed as The Last of Us “Complete Edition” for €65 ($89.66) with a release date of June 19. The game included the Left Behind DLC and a one-strap backpack. Now, when you navigate to the URL where the game was listed, you get redirected to the sites main page.
Eventually, Sony caved in and announced on their blog yesterday that yes, the Last of US is coming to the PS4, in “Summer 2014”.

I just hope we’ll see smarter AI’s. I remember an interview where they were talking about the PS3’s limitations and working around them, AI’s were a major issue they had to work around, Hopefully with the upgraded hardware of the PS4, we’ll see more intelligent AI’s in this remaster! 😀
Oh, they can put it on the PS4, but not on the Vita…. Nobody wants to ******** REMOTE PLAY!! LIKE OMFG!
uhh I’m sorry to break your point, but a large number of people are interested in, and are using PS4/Vita remote play. heck, It was one of the major reasons I bought my vita.
The PS3 is 10 times more powerful than the Vita. The Vita version will only look 10 times worst than the PS3 version 😛
just have a look at nfs: most wanted for PS3 and PS Vita. the difference is not as large as you make it seem.
Vita has a lower resolution and a small screen which makes details not so important as PS3. with clever programming, you might get near PS3 quality on Vita.
The amount of traffic/police is the only problem i got tho :'(
If it can remote play smoothly then it can also have it natively.

Utter bull how sony always happens to lie to its customers about something especially when they are flat out caught in a lie.
No wonder why George Clooney wants his money invested with sony back after finding out he was being lied to.
I hope this gets the same Vita treatment as second son.

I really wish it would be in 60 FPS because it makes the game look quite better and has that ‘realism’ feeling.
Personally, I don’t really care if it comes to PS4. I didn’t buy it on PS3 for a few reasons, the most important being that the demo wasn’t fun.
You obviously just aren’t into that genre of gaming then, lol. Nothing wrong with that 🙂

Considering how big the game is (and how many movies there are) that’ll happen.
This just in: PS3 will be coming to the PS4! Get all the features and games from your PS3 in your newly purchased PS4 with one simple modification! Instructions: 1.) open your PS4 console, 2.) remove all expensive components, 3.) Place PS3 inside your PS4, and your done! But wait, if you prefer a one-step method simply take your hard earned money you’ve been saving for a next-gen console and throw it directly into the garbage, it’s that easy!
wut? A lot of PS4 users came from XBOX 360 you realize right? Not everyone had a PS3 dude… sheesh man..
Do YOU realize this has been a horrible console transition and as a result many developers are backpedaling, trying to figure out their next (and most cost-effective) move. Which means avoiding the costs of developing new games by re-heating leftovers from the last console and getting idiots to buy last-gen games for their newly purchased console. But hey, whatever you gotta tell yourself.
