March tutorial contest voting begins! $60 in PSN Codes to win!
Times up folks! the /talk tutorial contest is now closed but it is not over yet as the voting for which is the best tut is now up
The voting will go for 5 days starting today
But lets not forget rules:
- Tutorials must be original work so no copy/pasta from another site
- Does not need to be hacking related but they do need to be about the Playstation system of your choosing
- If submitting a previously posted tutorial it will need to have significant updates to qualify
I you believe a tutorial has broken any of these rules then please let a staff member know
- PS Vita ($20 prize): https://wololo.net/talk/viewtopic.php?f=65&t=37386 (vote here)
- PS4 ($20 prize) : https://wololo.net/talk/viewtopic.php?f=66&t=37387 (vote here)
- PSP ($10 prize): https://wololo.net/talk/viewtopic.php?f=24&t=37737 (vote here)
- PS3 ($10 prize): https://wololo.net/talk/viewtopic.php?f=67&t=37389 (no vote, see below)
The PS3 contest had only one entry, so congrats to fifa12madrid for his tutorial: Install CFW 4.xx on firmware 3.55 which instantly wins him the $10 PSN Code! For the other consoles, you can go and vote for your favorite entries on the links above.
And as you might have noticed I said this month, as in there will be more!
Yep we would like to make this a monthly thing so if you need some extra time to write up an exceptional tutorial but think you won’t make the deadline well no need to worry, simply submit it to the next contest, which we’ll open soon!
Congrats 😛 Would make some tutorials but I think they may be misinterpreted for piracy (ie play ps2 games on ps3) ect… =/
piracy tutorials plz xD
I would love to see a VERY DETAILED tutorial on either or even better both OCMA and QCMA as I for whatever reason can’t get either working correctly. So if anyone comes up with a tutorial that can help me get either or both of them working for me you will definitely have my vote coming your way.

0 install drivers needed for usb
1 Install cma/opencma/qcma
use only one at a time if there not conflicting eatch other
then use vita on whatever firmware and use wifi or usb method to connect to the newly installed program
make sure its running tho on the pc
for wifi the vita needs to be in orbit around the wifi signal
for usb the cable needs to be plugged
thats it
if connection errors try again until succes
succes
There is no open contest, and this is NOT the place to post tutorials.
Glad there is no open contest, its nice to see someone who genuinely just wants to help. It’s also nice to know that there aren’t people who would interfere with the help others are trying to provide. @ivo I will try your method and see if things work out for me, either way, Thanks in advance for taking the time to try and help me out.

If all else fails, try uninstalling cma/ delete all files and then redownload official cma and run the current open cma installer. You should de good to go from there. With the new features of cma, you will need the current official as the base. Happy hunting. 🙂
Actually that is wrong as the newer CMA would wan’t an updated Vita
Checkout mediafire.com/ofws for the CMA installer you will need
that is unless I missed something and you can use any version you want
