    Thanks TN!
    But no LocationFree Player Support?
It’s in the XMB! Why not fix it?
People do use it :TV on PSP is great!
    &
I hope hope you change your mind about no more updates
I would really love to be able to watch tv on my Vita and controll my
Home entertainment system while away from home✌️

    • reprep

locationfree support needs h264 decoder and uses media engine which is unavailable in vita.

same reason why you can’t have sound in psone games and can’t play video from xmb.

    please someone send me a psn code. i have tried so many time to get TNV on time and failed:( please i really want to hack my PS Vita , cuz i want to play all those psp games i cant play on mypsp anymore cuz it died. i dont have a ps3 xbox i only have a vita so someone please help me its all ive got X( :{

  12. AssasinSpike

if you wish to send me a psn cwrd please sen it here : assasin.spike@gmail.com or a direct message on twitter @AssasinSpike, thank you all for caring 🙁

    • jake

There is no “code”. You buy the game, find the hacked saved files, put them on your vita, and play the game. Simple.

Also, if you mean getting it for free, even if I wanted to (c’mon man -_-), you can’t. You can’t hack the vita part whatsoever.

But that savefile? If you get it working, press the PS button and you’ll see the whole hack is just in the game. (Kinda funny pressing PS in the psp XMB)

i got this error when updating via internet from tnv7 to tnv8
-after downloading, the system freeze and an error occured
-on second attempt, after downloading and installing it, before installation ends again the system freeze
-on the third attempt..i loaded it thru internal storage because i have successfully downloaded it (i think its a successful one)..then it installed properly..
-error occured on accessing the psvita camera while on tnv8 xmb, unlike on tnv7 which it loaded perfectly..

hopes its not the last update..please..

    • mangosteam

i dint have any problems, the first installation really turns black then error then freezes but after restart its actually installed already after checking system info… then all is good again

  16. micheal todd

I have a problem when trying to update from the xmb. It tells me that there is no need to update, 6.60 is already installed. And if I download it and try it manually, I’m pretty sure it will say the same thing any help would be nice.

    and how to use FTP?

  20. GIST

Hi People, I have TN-V 8 as well, but none of the Yu-Gi-Oh ISO’s have won’t show up when I copy them to the same folder as MGSPO & MKU.CSO (Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops & Mortal Kombat Unchained).

Tag Force 5 won’t show up after I use “TFV.ISO”
Tag Force 6 won’t show up after I use “YUGI.ISO”
Even Tag Force 3 won’t show up after I use “TF3.ISO”

All these ISO’s work for my PPSPP emulator, just not on this TN-V8. Any ideas of what I may be doing wrong??

If you´re using an old PSV system version (1.69, 2.02, 2.60, etc.) check if your OpenCMA version is compatible with that system software version and game hack first, then check if you extension is completely in capitals, format 8.3 (8-characters long for name – 3-characters long for extension). Remember, a common mistake is having an ISO badly named; for example, BURNLGND.ISO.iso, and thus, resulting in a size error when transferring the savegame where the ISO is contained. You can think by waiting too long your save could transfer succesfully and weigh 1.4 GB but in the end it finish weighing stupid 236 KB. Hope it helps.

  21. ivo

use 8 characters for iso TAGFORC3.ISO

  22. taps

  26. Dark GOD

    Good stuff! Thanks!

  27. magestic20

Using TN-V8. Using new ftp transfer feature to directly copy iso PSP files. Simply create Folder in root named ISO. Drag file into ISO folder. No need to change name of iso based on character limit like before. Game should show up in folder and does not need to be installed like some other methods require.

Can you explain how you set up FTP? normally username and pass is needed when doing so, none was provided

      • magestic20

Start up the FTP connection in TN-V8, which is the same spot where USB connection use to be. It will begin to setup in server mode and will display your IP addresss that will be used to connect to. Use an FTP client like Filezilla and all that was needed was just the host address (Your PSVITA displayed address mentioned before). I think if you do not enter any username or password is uses anonymous by default, which connected to the PSVITA just fine for me

Can you explain how you set up FTP? normally username and pass is needed when doing so, none was provided

  29. magestic20

I should also mention that the FTP connection method is only enabled when selected and disabled once you exit out. Also there may be an inactivity timeout option that needs to be adjusted because when I first tried this method it went great, but when system went into powersave mode the FTP transfer stopped.

  30. pisen512

thanks for the new update.but it crashed and showed the error code c1-2858-3 when i try to start the ftp service.my framework is 3.01 with the exploited game king of pool.anyone here meets the same problem like me?and thanks the beautiful work that total_noob has done for us!:-)

    • magestic20

I get the same error when wifi is not enabled on the vita. Turn on wifi before going into TN-V8.

  31. Blackshirt_Avenger

DANG Total_Noob! This will be your last update? If so, this would be a major downfall for the vita world if true! Any who, would you or anyone else on here know why I can only have a certain amount of .iso’s or .cso’s on my vita? My situation is this: I can only get a certain amount of games on it before the others just won’t show up and I still have tons of space left. My memory card is 64gb and I still have about 25gb left but no other .iso or .cso will go on there. I’ve switched the games around that won’t show up with the ones that will and they will install just fine but the ones that use to be there now will not show up if I try to install. I looked at the xmb settings, Google, this forum and others for a solution and still no luck. Any ideas? Thanks a bunch in advance!

    • magestic20

I think the PSP in general could only use memory cards up to 32GB. This may be the case in this situation.

      • magestic20

However there has been others using memory cards higher than 32GB on actual PSP devices.

  32. LoneBlacWolf

Soooo has anyone actually tried the merged final fantasy type-0 iso because mine keeps giving me error messages. Before the update it would get stuck on the loading screen but now it just sends me back to the xmb menu with an error message; The game could not be started.(80010013)
Just checking to see if anyone got it working.

  33. gmk120

The update always fails to install.
I download it, it gives an error, i have to restart the Vita, and im still in 7.1…

  34. danknugz

Hi ! im totally stumped. ive got everything up and running, but there’s not a ” game” column in the vsh menu! ive transfered the ISOs to /PSP/ISO with the ftp. no iso show in the game menu in psp. what am i doing wrong? ive had trouble every single step of the way but ive been able to overcome them all.. until now. please help!

  35. pias

my tnv8 gives error when I try to install it, then when I try to restarted the game 100 mix, the system seems to be loading without stopping, then I try to turn off my vita but it did not turn off ans instead gives me infinite black loop with the black screen when u turning off ur vita… Now I need to wait until my vita is out of power.. hoping that it wont brick. I dun even know how can this happen damn

  36. Maaz

    What does tn-v do???

  37. Definitely believe that which you stated. Your favorite reason appeared to be
at the net the simplest thing to remember of. I say to you, I certainly get annoyed while
folks think about issues that they plainly don’t understand about.

You controlled to hit the nail upon the highest and defined out the whole thing with no
need side-effects , people could take a signal.

Will likely be again to get more. Thank you

  38. I know this web site provides quality dependent content
and extra stuff, is there any other web site which presents these information in quality?
