Homebrews you can/should install after obtaining VHBL
I know wololo has already made a compatibility list for this exploit, but in case you don’t know what you should install after grabbing the exploit, here’s a list of most common and useful apps that are confirmed to work with this exploit.
For clarity and readability, I will separate all homebrews into different categories: Emulators, Games, Tools and Menus.
Emulators
MasterBoy
MasterBoy is a great GameBoy Color and Sega MasterSystem emulator. Not only it can run both consoles’s ROMs, it does it with very good compatibility and at full speed.

fMSX PSP
The great MSX computer emulator ported to the PSP that can emulate both the MSX and the MSX2+. With this emu you can play awesome games like Metal Gear, or Metal Gear 2 (those are the only MSX games I know lol).

gpSP
A GameBoy Advance emulator that can play most games at full speed with little issues.
Although I’m not completely sure which version actually runs on this VHBL port, I’m sure one of them does.

NesterJ
Awesome NES emulator with so much compatibility that even hacked games run well on it (on some other systems/emus, hacked games could potentially cause bad side effects or unwanted behavior).

PicoDrive
A Sega Genesis/MegaDrive emulator with good compatibility and speed.

Snes9X-TYL
A port of the famous Snes emulator for PC. This port has compatibility and speed issues (specially on VHBL and the Vita, where Media Engine is not available), some are solvable, some aren’t, but most famous games should run just fine.

Daedalus r13
A very stable, yet unmatured Nintendo 64 emulator. While some games run well, they all work slow at some point and compatibility is not even decent. The more modern version of Daedalus – DaedalusX64 – requires kernel mode access, so this one is the only chance at getting some N64.

vMenu
Created by neur0n, vMenu was created for HBL users to have a taste of an XMB-like menu with icon0.png support.

yMenu
Created by wth/yosh, this menu also imitates the XMB but uses horizontal scrolling instead of vertical like the XMB. The menu uses the powerful GJE++ graphics library and this is noted by how well the menu handles.

A simple, yet feature-rich, menu written in python and C by Acid_Snake.

It’s likely that it is still up because it was released/announced on weekends = days that sony/psn workers have days off of work

Game is off the stores (US & EU) donno about others. it just vanished from the Download history list too… few hours ago.. thanks to the early informers…. got the game… not looking for a kernel exploit soon.. in some time… Amen

What delay? The files were removed 5h ago and that was the middle of the night for me. Give me the time to prepare the downloads, I also have a real life and a job. Give me a few hours.
Take your time Wololo, yes we are all anxious to get the vHBL and our old-school games playable on the Vita. Give him a little bit longer… all his hard work is definitely worth the wait.

hey guys ive got a few questoins that might be dumb but im kinda new at all this vita stuff but i know my way around the psp1001. so i was wondering do i have to use open cma? also i know that there is no way to play isos. im curious as to why. when hbl is running does it not have full psp capability? and is not is there a way? if someone can pm me of just let me know about the open cma part that would be awesome.. thanks and THANK YOU WOLOLO!

I woke up 5 hours ago, took a shower, a breakfast, and went directly to work. When I come home tonight, I will have the time to handle the release. Keep in mind that I have a real life to handle too. I spend as much time as I can on this hobby, but please understand that I have my real life schedule too.

@cofee: I’ve been on the psp/vita scene for 7 years and every respectable website where you ask for information about psp/vita hacking will generally point you to my blog and our community.
We have made 9 releases of VHBL in the past 18 months for 9 different game exploits, all of them have been used and confirmed to be real by thousands of users.
Sites like Reddit, Kotaku, Engadget, Eurogamer, or hack-a-day have confirmed through the years that the exploits provided on this site are real, not to mention well established scene websites around the world. Sony themselves pulled the exploited game from their store earlier today. Do you think they would do it if we didn’t have a solid reputation?

Guys Jesus cut the guys a break. The game literally came off PSN this morning. The VHBL page explicitly states the exploit files will be released within a few DAYS after the game comes off the network. You people are getting this awesome stuff for free and you talking about he waisted YOUR time? Get over yourself. It’ll come when it comes

All the kids complaining r the ones that were too late to download the game in time but i think its great wololo a programmer finds the time and uses it too make the vita better than it already is for free and for ganesh enthusiast to use it sucks people like him are hated by companies like Sony and he still keeps working risking his *** just too get pitched at u deserve money and in fact should charge these broke kids for your work i appreciate your work man keep it up

Sony guys cud sit for a week, filter all those buffer overflow toys. But they need sudden stock rises like a peak in ECG.

i cant install deadalus r13 on my vita, i download a save data of gta for psp , is that the problem? because i install deadalus and when i go to game, and the deadalus the ps vita close the game
dam i cant get none of these homebrews to work i tried to get gpsp to work i was able to install it but when i opened it it didnt load up. i think its cus i didnt change the dir. file. then i tried the nazi zombies one and it started installing and is now in a black screen. i guess the worst thing that can happen is bricking your dam psvita lol
You cant brick your vita with vhbl, no matter hlw many crashes you get.
When i try to install something it says Corrupted file and i cant copy Pc to Ps vita … Is there a way to fix this ?

Well im alredy have running the hbl in my Vita with this exploit game! Then im triyn to install the Snesx9 emulator that you recommend and its looks like the install has well… but doesnt work…. im triyn the same so many times but doesnt work! *** happend? Its because the gta savedata i was use for the install? I really dont think so because the hb install “well” help me please

That SNES emulator doesn’t work for me. It loads fine, but crashes when loading any ROM. I’ve tried a half dozen big name titles from the SNES and all crash – even Super Mario World
Does Daedalus R13 really work？ I cannot run it.
i cant get daedalous to ru, it just goes back to vita home screen when I run it?
So wait, can anyone confirm that any version of Deadalus works on the HBL for 2.12? I’ve tried the latest three version found on their website, and the ones on the forum. None of them work. They all install then crash when loading.

need some help if possible i cant seem to install any homebrew on any of the menus anybody have any idea when i start to install the file in hbl it locks up saying installing X files and will sit there for 10-15 minutes
