Some people expect the 33rd march (2nd april) for the release. Lets see if this will be this special date.

    • J3LACK--EAGLE says:

Whenever he releases it, i think he should work on porting it to other exploits like the one on 2.05 and more that can work on 2.05+……there are alot of exploits but people dont have the time or money to do it or look 4 it

    • FrostBit says:

be careful, its april.. don’t let it fool you.. xD

    • Mr-crazy says:

I am grateful to his work but
What is point of staying on 2.02, misssing latest vita games just to Use vita like incomplete psp?

    • Strata G says:

What’s the point of this?? Now he has a PSP instead of a PS Vita. But I would prefer the old PSP’s flash0 files be installed into the PS VIta

  2. Darenvy says:

Very Nice! Can’t wait for the release Total_Noob :D. You do great work!

  3. sil says:

Will this be able to emulate USB stick to memory card? Highly unlikely I know.
It would be so awesome to go back to drag and drop files without OpenCMA, even though it would be PSP files only.

    • Darenvy says:

Actually this needs to happen. I would totally donate $10 right now if a developer makes this. I’m sure others would too. Kickstarter? haha

    • Someone Else says:

As far as I know, this is not possible.
(Until they make a native Vita exploit.)

I don’t think the PSP had a USB port,
and I don’t think the PSP emulator
has access to the Vita’s USB port.
Because of that, I believe there’s no
      way to code a connection.

      • Someone Else says:

Well, actually I think the psp DID
have a USB port, but I don’t think
the PSP emulator has access to the
        Vita one.

        (Correcting my above post.)

        • Jd8531 says:

The USB is not emulated in the pspemu so no we won’t be able to do anything like that.

          • Someone Else says:

            Ok, there it is.

            Wasn’t sure on the specifics,
but felt like this has been
            asked before and answered
            similarly.

            Thanks very much. ^ ^

        • Thrawn says:

DID you ever own a psp?
          All psp’s 1000, 2000, 3000, e1000 do have an usb port.
Only the n1000 has a different plug, but can be used with a usb adapter cable similar to the vita.

      • J3LACK--EAGLE says:

It will never be possible cause the psp emu doesnt have flash 0 so u cant brick or use its hardware stuff(camera, probably mic, and usb)

    • gunblade says:

but the hard ware way differnt not much but networkgot 3g an the usb little differnt setup memeroy like psp go and xpria

      • Thrawn says:

yeah and you never owned a n1000.
You can use the go’s memory directly, without any content manager or media go.

        • gunblade says:

nah only a fat a slim go and now on a 3000 that i took apart but u could use media go to download games. jus saying the hard ware is prety much the same the psp go and outher sony products the psp emulater is based on the psp go becuz thats when the psp systhem was more designed for digital format wy we realy cant emulate umd i guess wasent in the acutal os of the psp emulatern u need content manager for ps vita cuz it has an internal storage n the psp the computer basicly read it like a usb media storage…

  4. Jmqm says:

OMFG It is just like the PSP all over again!

  5. ils says:

will PS Store available in TN-V ?
if yes, will Sony know the difference between CEF and original PSP ?

    Thanks :)

  6. KuroRyuu913 says:

Waiting before I update my vita for this. Since i use m vita like my PSP, I keeped it at a lower Firmware, I wanna update since Im getting another PSP, but this Exploit is keeping me from doing it, cause it looks SO DAMN GOOD

  7. Rusty_train says:

this is pretty cool, how do i reach out to Sony for comment, i wanna know what they think of someone putting the PSP OS on there vita

  8. VirtaHacks says:

should i save for this so i can buy the game thats for this jailbreak or dont bother tend i have jailbroken ps3

  9. wartaf says:

great! great! great! will it also able to play flash player?

  10. gunblade says:

so xnb fully emulateed nice.psp go iam guessing

  11. William A.U. (NeonAera) says:

    So awesome.. Can’t wait.

  12. plinkerfly says:

to find out if the psp emu hardware support, why not try playing games with wifi or with camera e.g. C.O.D. or invisimals if these hardware of the vita works with these games then there would be a possibility of usb support.

    • hgoel0974 says:

already tested, plus logically impossible, CMA uses MTP not standard USB so it wouldn’t work anyway

    • gunblade says:

looking at the motherboard of the vita looks like the usb part goes trough like a contoler thing before it connect to the memory card. differnt chip i guess but then the psp had a mini usb port n the vita port is different

  13. plinkerfly says:

BTW just for the record, i didn’t really like total noob BUT with what he is doing, this kid is what we need right now. HE’S GOT BALLS!! PSP’s ANTI-HERO… the kid we love to hate. and yet we crave for more. Who’s afraid of the BIG BAD SONY WOLF? Not TOTAL NOOB… cheers kid.. you’re doing quite well. And cheers to all that helped with this project. SIGNED TN-V FOR THE PS VITA, ANYONE?

  14. dimy93 says:

    One word : woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow
I really liked previous videos but this-this is full XMB- it’s like a real psp inside the vita-wooow

  15. RedDeadSunday says:

Few days from now we are going to see another waste of time video. -_-

  16. bakedonsomesour says:

this is amazing i can wait!!!

  17. Someone Else says:

These guys never stop with the awesome!

TN and Ark teams both deserve the fans
they’ve earned, by far. Great job!

  18. traveller says:

Other than as a cute novelty, what is the point of this? The current PSV eCFW menus are way better than the old XMB because they get in and out of games super fast. Why would you want to wait on the XMB?

    • StepS says:

because XMB will not crash ;) the game/homebrew crash will be handled and you will be returned to menu without having to restart the exploited game.

    • Kefkiroth says:

A cute novelty is all I’m really wanting. Plus, PSN access through the PSP store is a huge bonus. I bet it will have other advantages over ARK too.

ARK is nice, but having never owned a PSP, I’ve always liked its XMB, how it boots in and out of games, etc., and I greatly prefer it to the other CFW menus we’ve gotten for Vita.

  19. k3nn says:

heh! I’m glad i didn’t cave in w/ the recent FREE games being tempted by $ony. Now i can show this off to my non-vita friends and they’re gonna be like: oooh and aaaah!

very good work TN! you’re not noob as your ID suggests!^.^

    • Chuckthetekkie says:

If your PS3 can access PSN you can still download and transfer the games to the Vita. I am on Vita 2.02 and I have done this. You have to use a web proxy like Charles to bypass the update requirement. I bought my Vita in Mid-Feb and it had 2.02 on it. You can send me a message if you need help transferring your Vita games from the PS3 to the Vita without updating your Vita.

  20. J3LACK--EAGLE says:

There are more great things to this xmb(or vsh) project. I think it’ll be easier to find exploits even in psp demos probably. It’s pretty much a cfw inside of an ecfw(recovery menu and vsh menu)……there are shitloads of exploits and there might be some in the free games anniversary for the vita….its hard for us to find exploits cause we dont have the money……The person who’s making the Vita’s native hack does not have to worry about waiting for exploits cause he already has alot……he’s working with alot now to make the hack….Good job total noob, i respect and appreciate your work……what does system update do in the menu? And ik pictures are not stored in the psp emu like the music so your pictures wont be in the emu only your music and homebrew or games or whatever

  21. CGA says:

Can i connect DualShock 3 like in psp go?

  22. J says:

You people are morons, just hack a PSP if that’s all you want, why waste time doing it with the Vita.

    • rico uchiha says:

Bigger screen, brighter and better display dual analog sticks and i dunno abt you guys but the psp graphics looks better on the vita

      • pirate city says:

No, the graphics look slightly worse on the Vita. It only LOOKS worse because the Vita has a bigger screen and you notice how pixelated the PSP games are. But, you get used to it after awhile and it’s all good.

  23. stepenlu07 says:

how about psx games did they fix the sound in TN-V?

  24. troll warlord says:

why not release it already? we dont need that bullshit video

  25. Mud says:

I hope this improves the PS1 compatibility I still cant play Primal Rage or Deception III. :/

Is there a way to get POPs working for my TN-C (CEF)?

  26. Show says:

    God that’s beautiful

  27. Albo says:

    i have a idea with this….
    as the video shows
the uno exploit is used to gain access to psp recovery menu..
with this couldnt we run dark alex’s Time Machine?? insted of 6.60 but other fw maybe lower ones and maybe the newest one..

    any ideas guys?

  28. newrcc says:

You re luck guys. Here, 2.05 forever…. (i wont cry..i wont)

  29. rico uchiha says:

i love my vita but the games that are nice ahandful and the craps aplenty. Waiting for the release to revive my interest in the vita but in the meantime i’m glad i can play 3ds Fire Emblem on XL. Makes the wait a bit bearable…

  30. rico uchiha says:

if you exit out of the xmb and into the vita screen, the next time you enter the psp xmb, will the themes you set stay or do you have to redo all of it again?

  31. oreo says:

Well too late for me I wanted to update for Sly cooper. But oh well i will just have to wait for the Kernal exploit.

  32. PSVita_Scene_is_DEAD says:

3 moths without a new PUBLIC Exploit … so sadly …. no psvita scene…

I wanted to buy a vita wifi for 200 € in a bundle with a game but…in the future???

    – few games for ps vita and few only 4 vita games (at the moment
    – the memory cards Prices are too high so for a real/full gaming experience I need to pay even more~ 250€..
at this price i can buy a second console ps3 or xbox 360 with 2 games…..

    and more ….

    • fsfsd says:

Maybe you should play different games instead of Call of Duty all of the time? Then there will be more games.

F*cking idiot. Have fun doing nothing. Go back to the Wii or the Xbox. I think with Wii you can jerk off to Mario and Princess Peach and with Xbox you can c*m all over Master Chief’s helmet. Good luck.

  33. PSVita_Scene_is_DEAD says:

    PSVITASCENE wasn´t alive at all…

  34. perfectDemon says:

    I’m blown away!!! o_O

  35. Yuu says:

Awesome news and look forward to release.

    My magic prediction date is March 23rd :-P Between 1pm – 12pm GMT+2

  36. Resinmg says:

Wonder if it is possible to use the bluetooth on the vita in the pspemu. If so then we could use ps3 controllers on the vita for psp games like the pspgo did.

    • gunblade says:

idk think psp has wifi and a bluthooth card the vita well mines has wifi bluthooth and 3g think the vita is lockdown on its end with what bluethoot it can use pairing a phone is shity cuz u cant transfer picture n videos is jus shows as a an audio thing … think bluthooth is mainly for a head set device and the wifi is more fo the data use with the vita

    • Jd8531 says:

There are no Bluetooth modules so no we won’t be able to use Bluetooth.

  37. fabz says:

    Hello,

I have a OFW pan+ PS3, and UNO seems to be available, if i buy it on my PS3 and copy the game to the VITA with no Internet connection while the process, do it will do the trick ?

Any better way or just Charles proxy setup still working ?

    Thanks for your help !!

  38. Pisson says:

    Please help !!
    Thank’s in advance
    Best regards

    • pirate city says:

Maybe try a half-byte loader or something?

Should ask on the forums, not here for better answers!

      • Pisson says:

Thank you very much for your answer. I am a new user of Ps Vita and I am very gratefull for your help. I will search for Half Byte Loader.
        Best regards

  39. PS3HackerAndModZ says:
