And no, unfortunately the people who desire to play Mario and Zelda are not the minority. People with a Nintendo system typically enjoy those titles, as they have big names. Other niche games that are developed by Nintendo like Advanced Wars or Fire Emblem also do pretty well.

Fire Emblem has been doing very well with it’s latest release.

I know some of you are looking at the stock market right now, but what people wants his nice graphics, lots of you will buy a Wii U just to play Mario and resale or wait for Zelda,and that’s the minority. The specs are really important so the dev can bring another number to a series.. Example Modern Warfare 4.. If it’s the same graphic there is no way to call is the 4th version, if not, just call it DLC packs.. Even if nice game were megahits in the past like GTA.. You won’t go back and play the game on your PS1..what you want to play is the new one with new graphics… But at that time it was the best looking graphice game and now if you release a Gta V you will want it on the most powerful, good looking graphic PS4.

New Hardware is what will make us see new title in the same series. Nintendo missed the boat on that one and I have a Wii u, but what developpers will want to create a game with poor graphic? Noboday will want to buy the game. Lets says that I have a PS4, ps3, xbox360 and wii u… What version of gta5 I’ll buy? Man, i have like many of us multiple platform and I will always buy my game on that platform that offer the best graphics. No? I think Mario needs to jump into other consoles.

Nintendo Wii U is dead. I am keeping mine just because i can now have it on HDMI to play Mario, mario kart and Punch Out on the vWii.. I understand that these games can’t be found on other consoles, but Nintendo needs third party dev to compete and they failed on having big titles.

Also if the Vita can play remote play games… That Nintendo gamepad will make Nintendo looks so bad.. The Vita is just the perfect handheld machine.

I can’t believe some people talking about software here.. Engines will make the different and if this time PS4 is first, the port will be on the futur xbox, and not the opposite with the first game on PS3 that was a desaster.. All first game was taking the full potential of the ps3 because dev was developing on the xbox first and port to ps3.. Which is bad…

PS4 will kick some ass.. No dough about it and xbox will have a hard time now if they don’t release before christmas. They will be the Ps3 of 2013..
