PlayStation All Stars Battle Royale Public Beta
You may recall a little known game called PlayStation All Stars Battle Royale which first showed it’s face in numerous leaks across the internet and at this year’s E3. Well, if you do, then good, and if you don’t just think about Super Smash Brothers on your Vita or PS3 and you’ll have the basic idea behind the upcoming first party fighter.
The public beta for PlayStation All Stars Battle Royale hit PSN today in the latest PlayStation Store update for PlayStation Plus users, and Vita owners.
If you own a PS3 and a Plus subscription then you can download the beta from the Store now, but the real gem here is that Sony Entertainment America is giving Vita users early access to the public beta as well, even if you aren’t a valid Plus member.
(Owners of a PS3 and no Vita or Plus subscription will get the chance to try the same beta out on October 23rd.)
So grab your Vita and search for “beta” to start downloading the PlayStation All Stars Battle Royale Public Beta right now (before Sony has the chance to block it with a Vita update).
The beta will run until the end of the month, giving everybody ample time to grab it while it lasts.

Does anybody suspect this might be a taunt by Sony for VHBL users to update their Vita?
how could it be a taunt? its a demo, im pretty sure sony could careless about vhbl right now since they havent released a update.

no. you have to be on 1.81 to use the psn. the Charles proxy doesn’t work anymore :/

its pretty good, the only bad thing I found is that in the vita is like playing with ants, its crazy

I’m assuming you can play the tutorial which isn’t much, but online play will not be functional.

Its under new releases and a heads up the Beta will support Cross-Play, so PS3 and PS Vita owners will be able to fight against each other.

the demo dont patch anything
Just finish a game and i got 2 say the game is not have bad as i expect to be, hopefully more improvements are at work.Also i am 1.81 Urbanix so no patch or anything like that.
More on topic, has anyone had any issues with being kicked off the servers during tournament matches? It seems to be a hit or miss.
How to download it on the vita ?
I am on 1.80 with MH2. running the urbanix exploit thru my MH.
Can I update to 1.81 and still run the exploit? Or is it better to download the game thru my PS3 and then transfer it?
Neither one. If u update you lose the MHU exploit. It u download it to your ps3, trying to transfer will ask you to update to the newest firmware. If u do manage to get it via Charles proxy once u have it uploaded, the psv will ask u to update in order to join those servers. so long story short, this game will make u loose your exploit.
