    It wasn’t me 😛

Although I would like to see all my PSP games on the Vita, not sure I can afford a sizeable memory card, am happy enough playing gPSP at the moment, and Cave Story is a nice looking little beast on the Vita screen.
PS1 stuff would be nice though 🙂

    Mike..

  3. MakoChild

    That is exciting!

  4. finaly ISO

THES real hack i wanna play my piret ISO on ps vita

    • loketar

Why do you want pirate stuff on your vita this soon? Do you not realise it would most likely kill the console due to fall in sales? If you only want pirated material then don’t buy consoles this soon after their release .

      • SofaKing™

hahaha “fall in sales” i dont think sales could get much worse for this thing, the PSP still sells alot of units BECAUSE it is hackable, and cheap. and dont forget PSP was hackable MOST of its life too, i had to do the GTA LCS crash down to 1.0 just to bump up to 1.5 mmm memories!

      • Stranno

PS was pirated from the launch and its the second most sucessfull console ever after (guess what) PS2. It sold close to 1.000 millions of games

Piracy doesnt make a console fall, *** catalog make a console fall, and both Vita and 3DS have, right now, a really *** catalog

      • un3gr0

One more $ony employer. If sony cut ps vita’s console, acessories and games, it will sell more than 3ds, but psvita is overpriced, the games are overpriced, the game publishers have to pay HUGE amont of money to release a psvita game. I want to see $ony broken, they dont respect consumers. Where is the remote play? Where is linux on ps3? Where is the backward Original disks compatibility? And the trophie issue for the original game cards? They made it for the buyer dont have trophies.

I wanna see ps vita fully open, and $ony in the ground.

    • Zer01ne

You will never play your Pirated iso on PSVita because this hack will never be released because of you !
      SHAME ON YOU !

  5. xoombie503

He probably did it on purpose and deleted after people copied it…anyways I would really like a hen at least to be on the vita.the reason is that Sony is so slow to put psp games on the store and they put the crappy ones.i have a few titles in mind I would love to try on the vita controls

  6. finaly ISO

i hacked my psp i jast wanna play psp games isos on ps vita in HD XD piret iso is good well good for me not for sony XD

  8. OutcAst2myself

Wololo…… I thank some one is tring to “f” you ‘n the “a.” just a lot of fuz bout “pirate.”

  9. MarSprite

I’m not worried about PSP ISO Loaders killing the Vita. I figure a PSP ISO loader could help hardware sales, and as long as Vita ISOs aren’t loadable, the system remains viable for developers making vita games.

    • rex0112

yeah sure. why should sony bother anymore about PSP iso loader at this time right? It is too late already..XD

      • yeah sure and the games will be soon poor.. Game developers will turn against sony and all will go to iOS, Wii, 3DS, and etcs with a beautiful games…

      • JCSeto

Well, Sony will lose tons of money by PSP ISO running on VITA. It is simple reason.
People will no longer buy PSP Games from PSN.
I know not much of people buy here, but it is big enough for sony to try to stop.

        • Mr McGoo

I hate to tell you but im not paying $40 for a copy of tekken 6 that I already own. The games on psn are at original launch price. Definitely not worth it for me. I am indifferent upon the hen for the vita. I. Just set up my 60gig psp so that should keep me just for a while

        • N

Anyone who was going to pirate PSP games would just get a cheap PSP.

    • Adin

You mean Vita ROM? ISOs are for optical (i.e. disc) ROM’s cartridges.

  10. anon

the only one killing or damaging the PSVita is sony!

take a look at today maintenance!! the PSVita got ***!!

instead of releasing more PSP or PSOne game to the PSVita PSN they dont release *** at all for the Vita!!!

  11. BigCockSurprise

Damn its awesome! i really wish it could be released soon but don’t think it will happen. anyway i would kill to continue my psp2 game and other games i have that were removed from the damn psn..

  12. N0TR0LL

you guys are sure vhbl isnt nedded ?

  13. N0TR0LL

Okay thanks for the answer i won’t install vhbl then coz running ps1 and psp iso is my goal (X

  14. Elratauru

I’m with the people that would love to run backups on their Vitas, I still have my old PSP laying around, however, the Vita is the console I carry the most and I refuse to re-buy my games on PSN, plus, I have imported a lot of Japanese games that you cant find on the US store and some that you cant even find on the JP store.

I’d totally love to see a release of a PSP loader, but VITA loader? No thanks, I dont want a dead console on my pocket. The “meh” part is that some people use those loaders to pirate isos all over the internets, and that would hurt a lot.

But anyways, nice to see that we have at least a way to load isos, I guess that being able to inject code inside the psp emulator has its things, with the knowleadge that we have about its firmware and layouts, it’s no surprise that someone came with a way to boot isos 😛

  15. livepixel

I support this hack purely to play FF7:CC since Sony/Square Enix really don’t want to put it on the PSN for some reason.

    • Mr McGoo

I second this. I actually contacted Sony to have them list it and they gave me the run around. I spoke with a friend that works for them and he stated that it more than likely wont make it to psn due to licencing issues.

      • livepixel

        What! I don’t even…

The hypocrisy of Sony fighting hackers tooth and nail for control of a system they have sold to users and then providing abundant legitimate reasons for said users to want to hack, so they can get some actual value out of their expensive purchase, astounds me.

It’s also quite sad that I feel reduced to wanting to play PSone classics and PSP games because the Vita game offering is limited in quality titles. Then they don’t even release the PSP titles that were incredibly popular.

I don’t normally comment or condone the running on PSP iso/csos, but I can’t help but support it when Sony is thumbing their nose at it’s faithful users after promising so much and delivering so little.

I truly feel at a loss that I am not getting nearly the quality gaming experience I was promised from the Vita.

  16. Norml

One day, I won’t have to rebuy all the games I already bought for the PSP and Playstation, both have games that the PSN will never have.

  17. darkkitsune

    exelente *u*

  18. Chase

There is a vita iso loader called vitainstaller ive seen it on a website

    • wololo

This is most likely fake. The day an actual vita iso loader is made available, you can expect all scene websites (including us) to talk *a lot* about it

  19. Davee

As mentioned, nothing to do with me!

  20. Arch

Finally I can play Valkyrie Profile on my Vita.

  21. Chase

The vitainstaller iso loader computer program is on a survey website

  22. Cristal666

Hey wololo,i have problems with the system update 1.8 on vita,is this fault of the company store or what.I would like to play megaman powered up on vita because they cant make it works that why they didnt put it on store, god of war would be perfect i bought mk9 and i thought it was 10 dollars but i was wrong the game cost 20 dollars jajaja, instead of cry i bought megaman maverick hunter x such a perfect remake and in that game i found the powered up i love rockman 1 and still play it in rocknes.

  23. RodPin

I don´t care if I have to buy PSP games I don´t have to play on my Vita… What *** me is to buy all games I had on UMD again. Since Sony haven´t created a way to register your physical games on Vita, I´ll probably have to buy my Vita games again for PSP3…

  24. 007

You guys remember GOD PRO CFW?

    He did it!

    ***

  25. 7

    Eye haz geamez >_<

  26. Brandon

I hope this hack doesn’t become public, I really don’t. As much as I would love to play my Gran Turismo UMD on my PS Vita it’s just not worth it to have wasted $300 on a handheld that’s going to die.

If Sony gives up on the PS Vita and then this comes out, I’ll fully use it to my advantage but as the Vita still has some life in it, even marginal – I really don’t want to see this hack around.

Pirates – pay for your damn games. People have a right to play backups, but you don’t have a right to download for free.

  27. jdubs

Yea I support this…the only problem is this will most likely lead to the inevitable vita loader which I don’t really want to see happen. I’m just with those that don’t want to pay original launch cost of psp games that I already purchased UMDs for. They cut you NO slack in price…even for digital copies. Boo sony!

  28. ndh777

Well piracy isn’t the best news, but this is great news as it is progress. This not only means progress but also that we have new devs that might emerge. Anyone else thinking that we may see CFWs for us common folk by next year? 😉

  29. super

Make that 7 groups that have that kind of access wololo…

  30. Shelton Lee

I thought it was a fake. But it seems that the game “shining blade”is not the Jap version but the CHS version (Chs version is not official.it’s translated by a Chinese group named ACG ,and this version you can only find it as a “.iso” file ) .So if it is the REAL VITA,this will be a real breakthrough.(sorry im not good at English 🙁 )

  31. Norman

Is this the work of Lu Yifan aka yifanlu?? the one that made it possible to run PSX games on the Xperia Play through PSXPeria…

  32. Kefkiroth

Just as long as a Vita ISO loader doesn’t come around, as PSP ISOs are already runnable on PSP. But I guess that it is still possible for a PSP ISO loader to scare away devs from the Vita.

  33. Aces

Ok, i am against piracy myself, but all you people saying piracy killed the PSP dont know what you’re talking about. The PS1 and PS2 were rife with piracy, did they die?
    No.
The XBox360 and the Wii were both hacked for years before the PS3, did they die?
    No.
Sony killed the PSP. UMD, Poor planning and poor advertising, thats all it was.

    • tusso

      Absolutely quote

      • dante

I agree.People are so easy to blame piracy for everything. But piracy has been there from the time I started playing games on my old amiga and IBM XT (lode runner, pong, etc)
People then say yes but today the internet made it easier to pirate…agree and so internet also helped companies sell millions of copies of games instead of 100k or less.
It goes both ways. All the previous sony systems were hacked and still were the best consoles and games still sold for years.
The psvita is not doing too well already because of all the limitations, false hopes, etc that sony gives us.
Maybe I should do my Phd in this piracy thing, seeing that everyone just believes the corporations ranting about piracy. (heck even the music business did not go under when people could record songs and movies on their tape drives and vhs etc)
I for one hope it gets released some day so I can play my orignal psp games on psvita as I am carrying both my psp and psvita around all the time now.(and my 3ds and nds it is getting a bit silly now)

        • dante

O also just had to add, this is not 1980 – 1998 where every company makes their own hardware that only works with their products etc. These days people want interconnectivity, so either you have to move along with times and what people want or you will sufeer, whether it takes 5 years or 20 years you will lose in the long run, just as Sony is doing at the moment since Samsung,LG, etc are a bit more lenient with their products (yes not game systems etc) but it is only an example. Sony must start to understand people want to use the same SD card they are using in all their devices. I believe that if they made it a bit more user friendly, like better remote play for all ps3 games, ps1 and psp support if you already owned the games etc would boost their sales and thus get more people to maybe buy a psvita game or 2 as well. but hey that is just me.

  34. C:D

Most of the psp games are not in hd for ps vita even tho they have it hacked it will be like having a old psp. Plus we dont have many games coming out for ps vita.

  35. tusso

I don’t understand all this fear for the vita “to die”. The ps2 was one of the most hacked consoles ever, and it’s still alive!!!

  36. quetz

Great!! 😀 Thats just what i was looking for!! 😉

  37. Samir

This hack will enable us to play pirated psp games on ps vita.

  38. booler

If someone will release a PSP iso loader for vita then vita’s sales will only grow

  39. Lelouch

PSP ISO loading is okay, just not Vita ISO loading.
