Assassin’s Creed 3 Liberation: new video and new gameplay screenshots

More AAA titles coming soon to the Vita. Assassin’s Creed 3: Liberation had already been announced before, but we’re getting more information on this upcoming title, exclusive to the Vita.

Ubisoft showed additional pictures and a gameplay video during gamescom, and this one is pretty exciting too. For those who don’t know, Assassin’s Creed is a mix of action, stealth gameplay, and adventure video game, set in an historical background.

This Vita exclusive will take full advantage of the touch controls of the Vita (or so they say… besides Tearaway mentioned earlier, I am not sure any of these titles really “need” to use the touchscreen…), and they also announced it will be “linked” to Assassin’s Creed 3 on the PS3 (do they mean shared savegames?)

The trailer and new screenshots are gorgeous. There might be hope for the Vita after all!

I seriously don’t like using the back touch pad as it was really bad in Uncharted.

Other then that this game looks great.

You hardly needed to use it at all in Uncharted? Only for what charcoal rubbings?

Going up rope or rock walls, the good thing is you could use the buttons on that part. You also get a trophy if you use the back touch pad when going up a rope.

??? You could use the front touch pad for that, never knew you could use the back or even why you would want to. The back touch pad is a bad gimmick that’s not only pretty useless but prevents you from changing batteries.

At least Ubisoft gets it. Call of Duty is not on my list of Vita games anymore (unless we see an improvement). I hope they don’t postpone the release date like they did with Sly Cooper Thieves in Time.

I might get it since it’s on the Vita bad this game has been lame since after the first one. It’s just the same sh!t over and over, reminds me of COD.
