Hey everyone, the deadline for our VHBL contest was yesterday, and we’ve got 2 menus for VHBL competing for a prize of 77$, as well as 8 videos competing for 70$ (plus 2 prizes of 10$ for 2 random videos).
I will choose my favorite video this week (check them all in the comments here), and in the meantime, you guys have one week to vote for your favorite VHBL menu here.
The 2 menu entries are name yMenu and pyMenu. Both are fully functional alternatives to he default menu included in HBL/VHBL (wMenu), so give them a try! Screenshots and download links below

Yes, but in that case I’d rather have you try the menus at least on a PSP.
Otherwise you are going to judge solely based on the screenshots, which could be a bit unfair…
but eventually it’s your choice, all members of the forum are welcome to vote.

wololo@ i also thought there where three entries for the menu? What happen to the third one that was a redone of Neuron menu? Did it not qualify or was it taken out?

wololo@ they both where put on the thread on Saturday 16 2012, so technically i think they should qualify but they seem to forgot to put it in the main Contest thread so i guess you overlooked them or did not included them because of this? I hope you can put them here since they both should deserve to have a fighting chance

how do you install these on the vita i tried replacing the files in the vhbl with them but all that did was just make it not load any more, i tried to install it but didnt work either, can you tell me how to install them?

You should always try the latest version, you might have come across a bug in earlier versions that are not present in the latest ones, for example pyMenu was incompatible with Motorstorm, but now with the latest version it is.

I got the latest version so far, but my problem is that im not sure where to put these files in order to make it work, do i add them to ULES01027DATA00 and ULUS10287DATA04 and then copy them to vita, or do i use ps vita hombrew preparer and install it through vhbl?

put them where VHBL is, if you see an EBOOT.PBP inside a foler, then that’s it

I think if they wanted to be in the contest, they would have submitted their entry in the thread… But if they indeed want to be in the contest they should drop me a pm.

i hope someone makes a vid to show the entries of contestants, my sister plays my psp 3000 and my vita sadly doesn’t have vhbl.

see the instructions for respective menus. the base is just copying the contents into VHBL savedata folder to replace the existing eboot.pbp, as well as other files if required

why don’t you try to make a homebrew with ps suite ..
learn how it works …
mix some things\codes from the ps suite with the vhbl exploits
so we can get a long term exploit …-
Ps suite is very limited. If you have seen there is an nes emulator on the ps vita and the games would only run at 15 fps because of the limits. The fps could be improved but the ps suite is too limited
