PS Vita firmware 1.69 incoming

The Playstation blog just announced an incoming Firmware update for the Vita, firmware 1.69.

This update will be optional and “improves software stability”, which I assume is the politically correct equivalent for “this patches the Super Collapse 3 exploit that allows you to run homebrew”. I might be wrong, of course, maybe they actually are fixing instability issues in some games, who knows…

    Your probably right about the patch but I have been getting some freezes in uncharted since I got the treasure map dlc so maybe that might get fixed?

      Update Uncharted the version is 1.02 you have to click the little yellow icon on the game menu.

    yeah and thx to this update, we can’t really know exact where exactly to jump in the kernel anymore if we find a kxploit, as the flash0 dump was for fw 1.67
    on 1.69 addresses will have changed lol
