You’re turning Wololo.net into another gaming news website?
–Please don’t, I like the old Wololo.net were you just blog about things you like whether it is scene related or not, that time when you don’t have to pleased someone about the topic your blogging about.

I don’t understand why you feel so responsible?

    • wololo says:

Oh don’t worry, there will still be lots of posts by me, and I will still be ranting about stuff.

But over the past 12 months I have been contacted countless times by people who shared “tips” with me on newsworthy content, and I didn’t have time to talk about it, that’s where I felt “responsible”. Lots of people come here, expecting to get some pieces of news before every other websites, and sometimes it doesn’t happen.

This will *not* turn into another gaming website, this is still a blog where I (but also, now, other people) will share sarcastic rants, or very personal opinions on what’s going on in the scene.
I’m trying to get people who know what they are talking about, to post here. If at some point you feel that the quality is going down, or that this looks like any other gaming site, then let me know here, or on the forum, or by email, whatever.

I do not plan for this site to become another “here’s some official statement from game company A, and I have nothing else to say about it”, but we’ll see how that goes. This is a very exciting experiment for me, but if that doesn’t turn out well we’ll adapt things of course :)

So far, me and Coldbird have been involved in the scene in one way or another. We’re not just “passive writers”, this is a blog about opinions and explanations, not newses, imho.

      • m1k33 says:

Good to know that it will be like before but with much much more, :) thanks!

I’m just gonna wait and see what happens

  7. Baldassano says:

I would like your opinion on how EA games lock content out of games you purchase brand new and have to pay for online services in order to access that content which exists within the game disc itself.

Thats sounds like a good topic to start with…
If anyone isn’t sure what I am talking about then here is a video from L1Games (not me) http://youtu.be/ePNHfnR-SwA

You’re right. At the begging I just check this site because HBL. After sometime I found this site like my first hand place to know about the scene news by so far. Good work Wololo, I know that sometimes it’s hard to update a site (I have a blog too) but you reputation an opinion it’s always a valuable source for all of us.

    Good luck, buddy!!

I think it’s a great idea, it would be nice to hear the perspectives and opinions of others who have been in the scene for a while and know what they are talking about. I like the idea of expanding topics to android, Nintendo, and i phone “hacking” as well. I think game reviews should be restricted to specific games that the blogger would give 8+ out of 10, (no one wants to hear about how sucky a game is lol). I would like to see more technical articles as posted by freddy earlier, also you could mix in a few “lighter” articles maybe with some jokes, rumors, upcoming releases.

  11. lostarot says:

Maybe give Freddy and Coldbird their own banner or a logo so we know who wrote the article. I know there’s a “small link” on who wrote them but few people notice that. We just assume it’s you.

That should help specially for newcomers on the site. :D

Can we have another competition? It’s been about a year since the genesis competition, and I’d really like to be able to see another competition like it.

  13. Anth says:

Just wanted to post on here as a long time reader first time commenter. Thank you for what you have done for the scene and for the great place to come to for the latest on the inner workings of the psp and vita dev scene..

    Thanks :)

  14. m1k33 says:

OK, I thought you’re just trolling because it’s been asked a hundred times by pirates, noobs, newcomers and the answer is NO

  15. punkVince says:

anyway that’s a little bit bad that there’s no way to load any ISO files… sorry for not being updated to the vita underground scene and I’m not new to this, I’m just busy about finding job and it’s sucks.
