I can hate Sony to my guts for their crappy software and their locking policy, but we have to admit their hardware usually rocks, for a reasonable price (ok, maybe not the Vaio, but again, that’s mostly because of the crapware they put in it). The same can probably not be said of this Chinese “replica” of the PS Vita, named the “Yinlips”.
The design strongly reminds that of the PS Vita, but for 88$, there’s of course a catch. This is an android device, and the only games you will find here are emulators (which, I’m ready to guess, ship preinstalled on the device?)
There is of course no touch pad at the back of the device, and the hardware is far from being that of the PS Vita. It’s still a cheap alternative (and 88$ is a lucky number), but let’s be honest, for the same price you can get a refurbished PSP 3000, which will run the same emulators + PS1 and PSP titles at full speed. So, no thanks
