Release: TN-Hen E
As promised, Total_Noob is back with a new version of his Hen. If you don’t know yet what a Hen is, HEN stands for Homebrew Enabler, and is basically a system that allows you to run fan made games, emulators, and plugins on your PSP. The major improvement of this release is a menu where you can configure your plugins, based on Bubbletune’s Game Categories plugin.
The other features described in the changelog should not surprise you too much, as Total_Noob announced them a week ago in this interview.
I’ll quote the changelog:
- – Added ‘TN Settings’ option to the XMB where you can adjust your configurations and plugins (based on Bubbletune’s Game Categories).
- – Added OSK Character Limit Increase (the Internet Browser OSK only supports 512 characters. This patch allows you to use 1518 characters).
- – Added password control at startup (change password in ‘Security Settings’).
- – Added sceUmdMan_driver patch (umd4hombrew is not necessary anymore).
- – Added ability to access flash0, flash1, flash2, flash3 and UMD Disc via USB.
- – Added PSX multi-disc support.
- – Added possibility to hide hen eboot in the game menu.
- – Added version.txt display.
- – Added more functions to kubridge library.
- – Cloned more NIDs wich Sony removed in 6.20.
- – Fixed bug that didn’t show ‘Memory Card Utility’ in pops.
- – Fixed syscall execution in kernel mode (thanks to neur0n).
- – Redesigned NID Resolver.
- – Updated NID Table.
- – Improved plugins compatiblity: PSPConsole, Macro Fire, Custom Firmware Extender, Brightpad, Battery Warning Plugin and many more!

Still cant get tn-e to work
Please post a tut because i’ve been able to install the privious tn a-e easy and pro b4-5.Tn-e is the only one giving me probs.

Yeah tn e is nice and pro is havin problems but as i have said a while ago on wololos blog….(ok then) i alsp am going to be releasing one of my own hens. This one will have a perm patch as pro does however it will have most tns settings… and no i have been trying this from scratch i don’t belive in taking credit for anothers work ill post updates soon I’m only 66% done. If you have questions ask them on most recent post wololo has ill have a blog soon…… oh and yes iso/cso and psx support (it may seem as a waste to some but you’ll c how good it really is soon)

LUISDooMER , ok psx2psp it works fine, a file need, but i find it in v 1.2 ,
i convert some psx to e boots , and the only bad is changin some files like a background image a icon image rename a file and display this settings on xmb correctly, but i reading about this things jjejejejej ok see againg…
every body ho like psx games , i recommended PSX2PSP for make you’r owns eboots …

Ya I’m a developer fer a while now after doing some research… I’m not trying io be an ahole but don’t u know already were it is and it took me a while to find no i. Had help finding it with quick tips and what not. (Friends) also i don’t get to work on it much oh for the pple who care since this is for everyone what do u wish to be on ir like tn settings pass on boot?? U ask fer it and ill try to do it also i have added the ability to dump umd to cso/iso using filer 6.6(its still buggy. But ill keep you informed i may end up removing it and adding a systmctrl to dump from recovery menu.. ) so for your liking tell me what you all whant lastly i think it’ll only be for 6.20 any psp model lol the pic0 amd pic1 is B.A. ill keep u updated

As i have said it a previous post it will support all that have 6.20 and it has N anti brick feature I’m workin on meanin it puts flash in a hole burys it so if u do brick u hold l+r+x and it’ll restore it from brick tested on psp 3000 3g 6.20 and works (only a perm patch feature)

I totally agree with him! People like coldbird and virtuous flame used his kernel exploit without permission.

@Williand I think you need to convince me more if you really made a HEN and I think hello is right because there are a lot of liars claiming that they made a HEN.
I have a way to put my own custom ipl on PSP 2000v3, PSP 3000 and PSP GO. I don’t care if u don’t believe me but I am speaking the truth. I bricked many of my friends’ PSPs. But I got it to work. And yes I did crack the pre-ipl which none hacker could do. I will not release this because there are many precautions that could brick your PSP.

hey can someone help me… mine is 3006 running 6.20. i juss upgraded from tn hen C to TN HEN-E… now in my xmb simply refuses to go. IN hen-c all u had to was region change and rearrange your xmd and make it disappear,but now region change is simply not working. SO basically after “setting” my “photo reads extras”,” music reads photo”,”video reads music”,”Game reads video”Net reads game”PSN reads Net” Finally the actual “PSN” which is a dud… how do i remove the “extras” go away… which is ruining everything… another thing i noticed was region change simpl does nuthing for me…

I’ve been trying to get my psp go to play iso’s for a while now. I finally got it last nite with a downgrader. So to whoever TN is thanks a lot man. This thing is awesome!!!!! I finally got a backup of duodecim on my computer thanks to this program. Since Sony’s backup has been destroyed by hackers. Cant trust their servers anymore. Sure am glad TN put so much time in making this program!! i do have one ? someone might be able to answer. I got TN HEN E will it play the original copy of the game from Sony PSN or no?
