  2. brick_master

  3. Krozoa

they should try and stop the PS3 if they can and give up on the PSP

  4. Ioan

I bet dozens of people will upgrade even though wololo advises not to do so, and later will come crying and asking: Hen, HBL, something for 6.37??

  5. KenshinX

When I was updating my psp version?the battery drop out and my psp become a brick.Does it has any possible stratage to recovery it??I mean will the Pandora battery come true in the future??

    • wololo

No, send your psp to Sony’s repair center, that’s what they are here for.

      • wololoIloveyou

yeah?Thank you all the same.I don’t have the guarantee card?so?you know?it is only the brick…hey?would you like to receive it?

        • wololo

Thanks for the offer, but I’m not a hardware hacker, so I wouldn’t know what to do with it. One suggestion: sell the parts on ebay, you might almost get even on your money. Sell the screen, etc… separately..kind of a pain, but a good way to get some of the money back.

  8. spider-monkey

I update to 6.37 because im stupid…no i didn’t 😛 I’m happy with my 6.35 PRO(but im still looking forward for the downgrader so i could us TN hen)

  9. spider-monkey

thats odd. i could still go to PSN even with 6.35. maybe a delay update for PSN 😀

    • wololo

@spider-monkey: Sony always gives us a few days before they make the update compulsory for PSN access.

  10. SINCaliber

    Another useless update? >_>

  11. ffdgh

….i’ll stick with the awesome hens sony

  12. xxx

I think they have too much to patch in OFW so they should name it v 7.00 rather than 6.37 🙂

  13. rafael707

  17. Enzeru

I hope developers found a way (keys) to activate the kernel mode, that would fix it all in this new OFW

  18. xfat7i

  19. noob

yet another useless ofw from SOWNED NEE

  20. built2roll

does this mean no more phantasy star portable 2 online??

  21. skyline12

lol sony’s getting owned by hackers XD

  22. iSWORD

Does that mean that the signing thing is unpatchable ?! Or is it because Sony is too lazy to make a whitelist for its official things ?!!

  23. svenn

I think whitelisting applications have some legal issue’s. Thats why they din’t added this yet.

  24. Rowan

i signed promethethus iso loader and it doesnt trow up an error it jsut goes straight back to the xmb, any one know a fix?

  25. Roxxas

when they put the new version and dont can sign in store use the psn lover plugin he run in 6.35 PRO here

  26. Rowan

also for anyone else who has updated if you sign deadalous n64 emulator (all credit goes to the guy who makes it) it can run on 6.37

  27. @DizzyLikesWhiteGirls

I think YouTube was the biggest one for a lot of PSP owners.

I remember before I had a PSP, when they added the web browser and a lot of PSP owners asked for Flash Player in the console to run YouTube videos and Sony added Flash 6 but without the video playing/streaming functionality for no apparent reason.

and on the ebook reader, I’m surprised they haven’t tossed one in the PSP yet being that they entered the business.

  28. jlo138

I use media go and I downloaded all my stuff when I bought them and I knew there would be a time that I couldn’t re-download my purchased content without an update so I backed up all my stuff with the serials to an external hard drive so I wouldn’t need to download them from psn ever again.

  29. DizzyLikesWhiteGirls

@Morfin I’m pretty sure there’s already a PSNfuck of sorts.

Using official “Version 6.35”, I can’t get into any of my online games or the PSN store… but with the newest XMB-loading Hen “6.35 PRO” I can still play Phantasy Star Online and access the PSN store.

I just checked and it’s all still valid. So even if you don’t update, you’re not losing your online capabilities.

  30. crackers

cat hack hes working on 6.20tn-c and 6.35 tn-a atm why would u ask him for another homebrew itll be a foreevr war besides we arleady got a bunch of homebrews for ofw and 6.35 pro why would u update anyway wololo said not to 🙂

  31. I want TN-C ..huhuhu…anywayz is harvest moon boy and girl able to play in open idea iso loader?in prometheus, it is signed but hangs up..

  32. munib

    @crackers
how do you know tn is working on 6.35 hen a?

  33. Orohu

Um, you know, you can always load a .txt file from your memory stick in the PSP Internet Browser.
You just need to type it in this format in the address bar:
    file:\\\FolderName\TextFileName.txt

Sony didn’t fail on that part, even though it’s a lesser-known feature. Works with small SWFs and most HTML documents, as well.

    • DizzyLikesWhiteGirls

That’s not a reasonable facsimile. No bookmarks, no quick and easy navigation or formatting options… and even if you do try to take it seriously (which I have tried to do before out of desperation) it leads you to the obligatory “Out of Memory” issue that PSP’s Web Browser is (in)famous for.

Sony simply failed on delivery when it comes to the media functionality, there’s not even any room for discussion, debate or objectivity on that subject. Even as a picture viewer, you’re extremely limited in what you can view before it craps out and labeling hi-res files as “corrupt” simply because their software won’t read it.

It’s not even a hardware limitation because I’ve had crappy nokia phones with worse specs than the PSP that handle my multimedia like a champ… even with 4MB ram.

  34. sony can kiss my ass

    and the battle goes on….

  35. 122jdh

ive got 2 words for u Sony GIVE UP
how many “ofw” have u released that havent been cracked yet?
    NONE
thats right cry in the corner while u ‘lose’ money cause people are using homebrew

  36. asmith906

yeah a company trying to protect their profits. Sony is so stupid /sarcasm
I wish people would listen to what they are saying

    • wololo

@asmith906: Sony should decide if they are a hardware manufacturer, a content distributor, or a software company.

The concern right now is that they are trying to be all 3 at the same time, which leads to major conflict of interest, and is extremely bad for the customer (they basically lock the whole distribution system, preventing fundamental software freedom, interoperability, legal use of your hardware, etc…).

Note that they are not the only ones trying to do that.

  37. frank

im pretty sure coldbird’s hen has that as a feature
i was using psn with no problems on 6.30
    i think it’s the same for 6.35
get the signed 6.35 hen and use it!!!

  38. Enigma

    I upgraded to 6.37….HBL for 6.37…?

LOL, NOT. Would it even matter? The signing process can’t be patched, and I’m sure someone’s already working on signing Prometheus.

  39. Ultima

@Enigma Prometheus needs to be in Kernal Mode to run Isos or else you will be kicked to the XMB.

signed Eboots can be easily patched by changing the signature used to sign ebooots thus making signed Homebrews and older eboots unplayable(maybe make some work arounds for Offcial eboots).
