Release: Savegame exploit in “Carol Vorderman’s Sudoku” by Jeerum
A few weeks ago, developer Jeerum released a game exploit for the Demo of the game “minna no sukkiri”. At that time he announced he would be releasing more of his game exploits “for the sake of it”. Jeerum keeps his word and released a “Hello World” and a binary loader for the Game Carol Vorderman’s Sudoku.
Credits go to Jeerum for the exploit, as well as N00b81 and npt, for help with the code and beta testing respectively.

So…all psp can now have a Hen so what’s is this release for?? I mean they could just save this exploit for the next firmware(if Sony decided to do so). Well this isn’t really I was expecting, I was expecting for a update for the Hen PRO or a downgrader for 6.35 😀

Its not bad for the scene in any way, its patched in 5.50. So its a “might as well” release it kinda thing.
The Minna no Sukkiri exploit was bad, but I don’t think saying every exploit released by someone after they leak a big one should be considered “to gain fame”.
He should keep this exploit private until sony release 6.4x

I think it would have been better if that exploit wasn’t released becase it’s possible that Sony patches it on the next OFW. Aside from gaining fame, I don’t see the point. There are already exploits for 6.2/6.3x. Oh well…

if it’s patched already there is no point in keeping it a secret. especially from so far back. Jeerum is just trying to show he’s comited to the scene
See we have some parrots in this comment section. Assuming that because an exploit is released that it was only for fame or for it’s use, is flawed reasoning. It’s not bad for the scene, it just doesn’t have any future potentiality. Released or not, this was not good or bad for the scene and simply indifferent.
How is this useful? It’s not. Exactly why it was released. Why keep something under wraps if it simply doesn’t matter? Jeerum was well aware of this, and didn’t expect any fame to come from it. Please wake up and start thinking for yourself rather than jump on the bandwagon.

uh… not exactly. Users with 5.50 ofw or lower, they can simply update their psp’s system to 6.20 and use TN-HEN
i personally don’t see the point of this release, yet at least this isn’t a waste as it doesn’t work on firmware above 5.50.

ok after rereading this it makes more sense now. it doesn’t work on 5.50+ which its useless so might as well release it right? So this is an evidence that Sony is also looking for an exploit to patch before someone does.
well, i guess jeerum did this just to show that he can find some more exploits… even though this one is pretty much useless for any one with a recent OFW.
and well, even when we know that the release of the 6.35 exploit was kind of dumb and rushed, it was good news for a lot of us (of course then i thought about and realized that it was going to get patched, and i pretty got bumped)
So by this moment we know he messed up, but we (6.35 ofw users) should be somehow thankful for what we got (yes i know it could be better if he waited, but still it’s good and no one can say that it isnt) and just know that we are gonna have to stay at 6.35 whenever Sony decides to release a new firmware…
Anyway that’s just my opinion, im grateful to Jeerum for his work, even though he’s just like a lil kid that rushes to make decisions.

No one really gets the potential of having Sony’s Kerk keys… this is nothing it’s not a waste even if it did work on 10.42 (just a metaphor for saying it doesn’t matter even if he didn’t release it until the next firmware) People the kirk keys are everything!!! Why can’t he keep the exploit till after SONY patches the current one then release it !! Wololo, I hope you have other hidden cards for when this happens 🙂 At this point All is fine and figured Exploit + ( HBL + HEN + Homebrew ) so I thought the mission is to just keep finding the Exploits and keep them secret till the days after the OFW release !!
Because its already patch on 5.50+ so its useless now.
