Release: Half-Byte Loader R112 for the sukkiri exploit (compatible with OFW 6.35)
This will sound like old news to many of you, as the binary has been made available a while ago by Mr.X on our forums, but, believe it or not, with all the “Hen” and “iso loader” things going on, I didn’t find the time to do a proper release of HBL for the sukkiri exploit.
I apologize in advance as I haven’t tested this release very thoroughly, but there it is, official support of all firmwares up to 6.35 for HBL.
I also want to announce that I will stop supporting the Golf exploits from now on. I don’t know yet what the decision will be from the development point of view, but as far as binaries are concerned, I won’t release updates for the Golf exploit anymore. I strongly suggest to people on OFW 6.30/6.31 to migrate to the sukkiri exploit as soon as possible. As far as I know, this exploit will bring a higher compatibility rate than the golf exploit, the game being a bit more recent.
The patapon exploit is a different story. For now I keep it at the latest R109 release, as I expect people using this exploit to quickly start using the HEN. And there’s no need to update HBL as long as the Hen starts fine 🙂 (by the way, don’t mind the “memory leak” message when running the Hen through HBL, this is perfectly normal)

Well, I sure hope that the XMB kernel exploit for 6.3X come out, I thought TN should just modify some files to make it work, but now I see it is very hard and TN’s doing the best he can, till HEN is released, HBL’s here for us, so we can’t complain u.u

HBL is good enough for me…for now. I just wanted iso loader because I have to much UMD and a 8gig memory card(you should get my point)

daedalus R14 successfully loads in ofw 6.30.
Although i don’t know if it can run properly since i don’t have any roms lol.

i really sorry no patapon hbl update. I understand u´ll fix the problems with higher fw and psp go. punker69 i.bin and savegame should be in the next hbl. With his version u could load sukkiri and 2 patapon2 savegames. This make edit make the hbl&tn save(if ur big brother[or some1 else maybe if u sleep 🙂 ] delete one of the saves).

i managed to run ISO loader in this HBL.

I heard many people saying the same thing but the question is does it run the iso or just crashes afterwards.

have downloaded this a while back and then i ran iso loader and it says loading iso thyen crashes i tried it with dirt 2 can someonje tell me why

HBL release starts up great, but I have noticed some compatibility problems. Is there any eta on HEN for 6.35?
Thanks a ton for this, while it’s been a very long time since I enjoyed the homebrew scene I think this will convince me to spend much more time with my PSP Go (which makes for a fine media player).

No, the HEN does not run from this exploit.
The 6.20 HEN is the “Full-Byte Loader” of today.

I think they’re talking about the Prometheus Iso Loader made by Liquidzigong. It loads but crashes afterwards so…yeah 😀
