TN Hen going “gold”
I chatted a bit with Total_Noob a few hours ago, who confirmed to me that the first public release of his Hen is ready and has been sent to pspgen yesterday. I assume the staff at pspgen will now be testing the Hen for a little bit, making sure there is no last minute bug, before they make the public release.
I can see that there’s electricity in the air, just by looking at the spike in visits yesterday, seems I’m not the only one waiting for this release 🙂

Wow, it does seem kind of selfish that they are holding that until December 24… But really, maybe they are developing something? (Not to start any rumors.) Because Total_Noob could release the Hen ANY TIME he would please on his website or an uploading website! Why would he leave it to them to test it, and 4 days later, release it? It just seems strange to me…

PSPGEN paid Total Noob few hundreds $ that TN has prepared a special release for their site. Everyone knows that traffic will be special.

everybody be patience maybe team GEN analyzing if TN-A HEN have a bug…so they can fix it…if the HEN release today by team GEN and every one got a problem that there some bug on TN HEN…i know people post stupid comment like insulting TN…so just wait until dec. 24 and maybe team GEN creating LCFW…

The French team over at pspgen has received the final version of Total_Noob’s 6.20 TN/HEN and according to them they’re going to make it public December 24 at 12:30 (French time). There is a 6-hour difference between EST and CET so we can expect it around 6:30 in the morning if pspgen is on a 24-hour clock.

Okay, noobs. Before you get all excited about this HEN, remember:
The HEN will NOT allow you to play ISOS or PSX games off the bat. You’ll need an ISO loader, of which many are being worked on by numerous developers. Please be patient.
I’m giving this warning because it is the whining and crying of noobs at the inability to play ISOS immediately that annoyed Davee, the creator of ChickHEN and a major developer on this TN HEN, and made him stop developing. If that hadn’t happened, we would be enjoying a 6.20 HEN right now.
So please, don’t ask silly questions. If there’s something you really need to know, google it or search previous pages of this blog post or other posts. There is no doubt that your question has been asked before and answered as well.

But anyway, why the heck are they holding it back. If its finished, its finished. They couldve at least tell us WHY is being delayed. They must be drinking GEN to hold something back like this. Out of ALL the sites in the world, GEN receives it. Theres pspslimhacks, THIS site, and alot of other easy to read PSP sites. But except GEN has it with that French language. And something else, how could the HEN be delayed by people that didn’t even make it??? Is this REALLY I our punishment, I mean THEIR punishment, for whining over ISO’s. Half people whined and half didn’t, so I guess they would need to release it tomorrow. They delaying something over what the non-whiners didn’t do.

Oh well. I really can’t complain since I not spending money. I guess I will have to pretend that their fixing a bug that will brick your PSP when you install the HEN.
It’s because PSPGEN sent TN a psp go to work on, so he practically sold his soul to them, because the agrement was if they sent him one, he had to post info on their site first and release it there.
I have never seen so many people whine about a free service that takes a lot of hard work. Suck it up and be patient people!
Hey now guys. GEN is just getting in the holiday $pirit like the rest of the world. Maybe if they had more time to prepare, they could have actually charged us for the HEN! Shucks gawsh golly gee, too bad they didn’t get that one figured out. I don’t mind waiting patiently. I do mind people taking advantage of something that used to be about the gamers and beating the system, not how they can squeeze a penny out of something and be more like the system. Good thing the psp (this one at least) has about run its course, because the scene feels tainted now. Maybe it isn’t really like that, but something smells a little fishy. You can’t let a kid start opening his present, then suddenly take it away and say ‘uuuuh, uuuuh, we need to re-wrap it’. Lol. Waaaaaaaaaaaah.
If and when I dl the HEN, I know where I won’t be getting it. Muahaha.

Stop whinning! I’m a little disappointed that they are holding the release but they are debugging and notifying that to TN and that’s good. Besides, he DID fullfilled his part about finishing before Xmas. And Xmas is the 25th anyway so PSPGen is making it in the due date. Let’s all be patient please and stop the insults. I want ISO/PSX loading too but I don’t go harrassing people. It happened with previous developers that they stoped proyects because of whinning. Thank god TN is a patient guy (or is a girl? XD).
And btw, they changed a bit the release hour, just 30 minutes later:
“The online release of 6.2 TN-A HEN is scheduled for December 24 2010 at 12h30 (French Hour) by PSPGen”. My French is not that good yet, but that’s more or less what it says (aside from wishing us a happy Xmas and stuff about how it’s supposed to run on 6.2 only, but we know that).
On Dec. 24, the internet will be REEEEAAAALLY slow. People gonna think ythey are using the first internet service.

No, PSPGen is not sitting on it to drive up hits or just for selfishness. It takes time to inspect the HEN and run it on the different currently unhackable PSP’s out there. Why can’t you people be patient? If you want a HEN so badly, make one.
Besides, who do you expect is going to release an ISO loader or a full CFW for the HEN? PSPGen of course! So stop your whining.
